Arsenal vs Leeds Prediction: Gyokores out to prove a point

Arsenal host newly-promoted Leeds United on Saturday evening (17:30 BST, live on Sky Sports Main Event), in their opening home game of the new Premier League campaign.

Team News

Arsenal hijacked Spurs' move for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze in recent days but this game will come too soon for the England international to make his debut. The move for Eze came as a result of Kai Havertz suffering a knee injury in training, which is expected to keep the German out for some time.

Ben White and Christian Norgaard will both undergo late fitness tests due to knocks - the latter missed the trip to Old Trafford last weekend. Gabriel Jesus remains a long-term absentee for the Gunners.

As for Leeds, Ethan Ampadu was forced to withdraw against Everton after suffering an MCL injury, which will keep him out until after the international break.

That apart, Daniel Farke should have a fully fit squad to choose from, as Jaka Bijol is back from suspension and Sebastiaan Bornauw has shaken off a calf issue.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be handed his debut at the Emirates, as could Noah Okafor, who has arrived from AC Milan.
