Arsenal welcome Fulham to the Emirates Stadium for matchday three of the Premier League on Saturday afternoon (15.00).

Arsenal have made a solid start to the season with victories over Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace and they can continue their winning start by seeing off visitors Fulham this weekend.

The Cottagers, however, are looking to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Brentford.

Arsenal vs Fulham Prediction

  • Arsenal to win to nil @ EVS
  • Gabriel Martinelli @ 7/5

Team News

Takehiro Tomiyasu will be suspended for the Gunners after his dismissal against Crystal Palace, while Jurrien Timber remains on the absentee list due to an ACL injury.

Gabriel Jesus is also a notable miss for Mikel Arteta’s side with a knee issue, however Oleksandr Zinchenko is back to full fitness after coming off the bench against Palace last time out.

As for the visitors, Tim Ream is also on the suspended list after receiving two cautions against Brentford last time out, but Joao Paulinha should be back in the starting lineup after being welcomed back into the side against Brentford.

Arsenal to win to nil @ EVS

Arsenal have scored at least three goals in seven of their last nine home league games stretching back to last season, while Fulham have only managed four shots on target in total in two games and may struggle to find a way through here.

Marco Silva’s side have faced 15 shots on target across their opening two games this campaign and, after the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic, could be short of firepower in the final third.

The Gunners won both league meetings against Fulham last season, claiming a 3-0 win at Craven Cottage in March in their last meeting, so backing them to win to nil looks to be the way to go here.

Gabriel Martinelli to score anytime @ 7/5

Martinelli is a constant feature in the starting XI for Mikel Arteta, and should get plenty of opportunities to open his account for this season here.

The Brazilian managed to get on the scoresheet against the Cottagers in Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Fulham back in March, one of his 15 strikes for the 22-23 campaign.

Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Martin Odegaard have already added to last season’s goal tallies, so Martinelli will be eager to get in on the action this weekend.
