Read on for my AFC Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace predictions, featuring the latest odds and team news.

AFC Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace Predictions

  • Bournemouth to win & over 1.5 goals @ 13/10
  • Bet Builder - Justin Kluivert & Ismaila Sarr to have 1+ shots on target @ 13/8

AFC Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace Odds

Bournemouth head into this clash a shade under even-money for victory, having been priced up at 10/11, while visitors Crystal Palace are 11/4 outsiders to return to winning ways. The draw is available at 5/2.

Entertainment is expected, with both teams to score priced at 8/13, while over 2.5 goals is also odds-on at 8/11.

Team News

Bournemouth are without five players for this contest, with Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra, Julian Araujo, Marcos Senesi and Marcus Tavernier all sidelined through injury.

Crystal Palace are hoping that Eberechi Eze will return to fitness in time for this trip, but Matheus Franca, Adam Wharton and Franco Umeh will all miss out.

Bournemouth to win & over 1.5 goals @ 13/10

Bournemouth head into their Boxing Day fixture in fine form, taking maximum points from four of their last six matches at the Vitality Stadium.

The Cherries are putting up some impressive underlying numbers, having racked up the third-highest expected-goals tally in the division.

Bournemouth are also conceding less than a goal per game at home, while they’ve shut out Manchester United and Tottenham across their last four fixtures.

That fine run should continue against a Palace side who have lost 3-2 and 5-1 to Arsenal in their previous two matches. The Eagles have been in inconsistent form all campaign and there’s little to suggest that they can dent Bournemouth’s surprise top-four charge.

Goals look likely and given that 82% of Bournemouth’s league games have featured two or more, they can net a couple in a victory over Palace. The Cherries look good for maximum points, but adding over 1.5 goals into the mix enhances the rewards.

Ultimately Thursday’s clash should see plenty of goals, with a 3-1 victory for the Cherries an interesting correct-score selection at 14/1.

Bet Builder - Justin Kluivert & Ismaila Sarr to have 1+ shots on target @ 13/8

Thursday’s match pits together two in-form attackers and Justin Kluivert and Ismaila Sarr are 13/8 to muster a shot on target each.

Kluivert has had an effort on target in each of his last nine Premier League matches, which included a goal against Manchester United on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Sarr has more efforts on target than any other Palace player this term. He recorded three in Sunday’s 5-1 defeat to Arsenal, taking him to 12 shots on target across his last seven appearances.

Pair the Palace man with Kluivert in a 13/8 shots on target Bet Builder.
