The 3-3-3 column is still basking in a hefty profit so far in the 25/26 season but we've now missed for two straight weeks with one leg letting us down each time.

Jamie is back with the latest edition of his 3-3-3 column this weekend and the selections come from Italy, Spain and France as he looks to bounce back at odds just north of 3/1...

Last year, the 3-3-3 column returned a profit of 17 points, which means that if you'd backed every treble recommended over the course of the season for level £10 stakes, you'd be up by £170. That's one of the better returns you'll see in the tipping business and speaking of returns, Jamie Pacheco is returning again this year to do try to do it all over again, and maybe even improve on it.

Welcome to the 3-3-3 betting column. Why is it called that? Glad you asked. It's not a formation to play when you've had a man sent off but rather:

3 - The number of different selections making up the acca.

3 - The number of different (non-English) European Leagues the selections are taken from every week.

3 - The minimum odds (3/1) or 4.0 if you prefer, that the acca will come to it every week.

And it really is as simple as that. The selections can be from any betting markets, as long as they meet the criteria set out above. And to round things off, every week I'll leave you with a cool (or at least I think so) bit of trivia involving one of the teams featured in the acca. Simples...

2025-26 season Current P and L: +16.93

2024-25 season's P and L: + 16.9

I was too ambitious. I went for a riskier-than-usual third selection when I didn't really need to in search of a bigger price and bigger payout on the 3-3-3 and it cost us.

Sporting won all right but it was 0-0 at the break when we needed Sporting to win both halves. Then again, that was an outcome that had happened in all of their last four, so at the time I obviously felt it was worth the risk.

The first two bets had won comfortably before that.

So we're back to 16.93 points.

  • Sassuolo v Inter Milan
  • Saturday 7th Feb 17:00
  • Back Inter Milan to win @ 1/2

One of these days, Inter are going to let me down, after they've been very kind to us in the past. Just last week, we had them at evens to win with under 3.5 goals in the match, and they were as good as gold, winning 2-0.

But I don't think it will be this week that they let me down. Ahead of a tough Champions League midweek game when they face Juve next weekend, maybe; but hopefully not this time.

They're on a run of five straight Serie A wins. Midway through that run, they also beat Dortmund 2-0 away. And in midweek, they beat Torino 2-1. So, they know how to win a football match these days.

Opponents Sassuolo aren't a bad side. 11th place in Serie A takes a decent effort and they're above good teams like Cagliari and Genoa.

But as I keep on saying, Inter are the best team in the country by a considerable distance and have beaten them in four of the last five times they've played them.

No point trying to be too clever about the manner of the win because it really could be anything, so I won't. A straight Inter win at 1/2 it is.

  • Sevilla v Girona
  • Saturday 7th February 17:30
  • Back Over 2.5 Goals @ 1/1

Most 3-3-3 columns feature a selection hovering around the even money mark and this week, it's this one.

But I quite like the stats here.

Sevilla have a 73% strike rate for 'overs' at home this season, and it's 63% away, so their games do tend to have goals. It was 2-1 at home two weeks ago, which of course would have been a winner had it been this week. And then they got spanked 4-1 at Mallorca last week.

And it's not like Girona go out and shut shop every week, either. They're 54% away themselves and just under the 50% mark when at home; which they're not this week.

You'd think the reason for the decent price of evens on us getting three or more goals would be the head-to-head but that doesn't explain it, either.

Three of the last five between these two had over 2.5 goals.

So I think it's best to stop asking why it's that price and just go ahead and back it.

  • Stade Brestois 29 v FC Lorient
  • Sunday 8th Feb 18:00
  • Back Over 1.5 Goals @ 4/11

Brest have a 70% strike rate for 'over 1.5' matches this season, and a barely-believable 90% away. Lorient matches very rarely see fewer than two goals in them, either: 90% at home and 80% on the road.

Four of the last five between these two had at least two goals in them and when they met earlier this season, it ended 3-3!

With Brest on a run of six games that went over 1.5 goals and Lorient on a run of five, we should be ok here.

Jamie's Fun Fact

Inter are one of only two Italian clubs to have never been relegated from Serie A, alongside Juventus. They've been in the top flight continuously since it was formed in 1929.
