The 3-3-3 column is basking in a hefty profit so far in the 25/26 season but last week was a miss as only two of the three legs came in.

Jamie is back with the latest edition of his 3-3-3 column this weekend and the selections come from Italy, Spain and Portugal for a decent 4.19/1 treble...

Last year, the 3-3-3 column returned a profit of 17 points, which means that if you'd backed every treble recommended over the course of the season for level £10 stakes, you'd be up by £170. That's one of the better returns you'll see in the tipping business and speaking of returns, Jamie Pacheco is returning again this year to do try to do it all over again, and maybe even improve on it.

Welcome to the 3-3-3 betting column. Why is it called that? Glad you asked. It's not a formation to play when you've had a man sent off but rather:

3 - The number of different selections making up the acca.

3 - The number of different (non-English) European Leagues the selections are taken from every week.

3 - The minimum odds (3/1) or 4.0 if you prefer, that the acca will come to it every week.

And it really is as simple as that. The selections can be from any betting markets, as long as they meet the criteria set out above. And to round things off, every week I'll leave you with a cool (or at least I think so) bit of trivia involving one of the teams featured in the acca. Simples...

2025-26 season Current P and L: +17.93

2024-25 season's P and L: + 16.9

Two of the three came in last week, but that didn't really matter because we were out after the first one when Fiorentina v Cagliari failed to produce the three goals we needed, and in truth, it wasn't even close, ending 0-0.

So, 17.93 points profit it is, going into this weekend's action.

  • Cremonese v Inter Milan
  • Sunday, February 2, 17:00
  • Back Inter to win and Under 3.5 Goals @ Evens

Inter have been kind to us in this column, coming good on a couple of occasions during our Dream Run earlier this month.

They're an excellent side these days, doing the business in both Serie A and the Champions League, though they didn't do quite enough in the latter to avoid a Playoff.

This weekend, they're up against a 13th-place Cremonese side, and I'm pretty confident they'll win that.

Apart from anything else, they've beaten them seven of the last eight times they've played them.

But I think the odds-compilers have it wrong regarding the number of goals they think there will be in the match.

Inter will have had a tiring game in Dortmund (they won it 2-0) in midweek and apart from anything else, they don't need to win this comfortably, they just need to win it.

On the other hand, they may well keep a clean sheet, meaning 1-0 or 2-0 could do it for them.

So I'll go with the hot favourites winning it and under 3.5 goals in the game, at evens.

  • Elche v Barcelona
  • Saturday, February 1, 20:00
  • Back Over 2.5 Goals @ 4/11

Some selections aren't worth overthinking too much.

90% of Barcelona's home games in La Liga this season have gone over 2.5 goals and so have 72% of their away games.

They were at it again in midweek with a 4-1 win over Copenhagen after beating Oviedo 3-0 last weekend and Prague 4-2 the Wednesday before last.

Crucially, Elche have an acceptable 54.% strike rate themselves for 'overs' matches, so one way or another, we should really get three goals here.

  • Sporting Lisbon v Nacional da Madeira
  • Sunday, February 2, 18:00
  • Back Sporting to win both halves @ 19/20

This week we're going with a bigger price than usual on our treble because I can't resist including this one. Besides, it's not rocket science that a higher price could mean a potentially bigger payout and a good contribution to our P and L, so it could be worth it.

Here are Sporting's last four at home in the league, earliest first: 4-0, 6-0, 4-0 and 3-0.

In all four of them, they won both halves, which is probably going to happen when you keep endless clean sheets and can't stop scoring at the other end.

Nacional are mid-table, so not the worst side out there, but Sporting are in terrific form, beating Bilbao in midweek, so they should be too good for them, and that could mean winning both halves once again.

Jamie's Fun Fact

So who's Barcelona's top-scorer in La Liga this season as they carry on racking up the goals? Goal-machine Robert Lewandowski? Wunderkind Lamine Yamal? No, it's former Man City man Ferran Torres, with 11. Lewandowski has 10, Yamal has nine.
