Weekend Football Accumulator Tips: A Cross-European 3/1 Treble

It wasn't to be last time out with two of the three legs coming up short but this column is still in profit heading into the games this weekend.
Let's see if Jamie can get back on track as he goes through his Cross-European Treble with the latest edition of his 3-3-3 column with selections from France, Italy and Spain on his radar this week...

Last year, the 3-3-3 column returned a profit of 17 points, which means that if you'd backed every treble recommended over the course of the season for level £10 stakes, you'd be up by £170.
That's one of the better returns you'll see in the tipping business and speaking of returns, Jamie Pacheco is returning again this year to do try to do it all over again, and maybe even improve on it.
Welcome to the 3-3-3 betting column. Why is it called that? Glad you asked. It's not a formation to play when you've had a man sent off but rather:
3 - The number of different selections making up the acca.
3 - The number of different (non-English) European Leagues the selections are taken from every week.
3 - The minimum odds (3/1) or 4.0 if you prefer, that the acca will come to it every week.
And it really is as simple as that. The selections can be from any betting markets, as long as they meet the criteria set out above. And to round things off, every week I'll leave you with a cool (or at least I think so) bit of trivia involving one of the teams featured in the acca. Simples...
2025-26 season Current P and L: +0.86 pts
2024-25 season's P and L: + 16.9
We failed to clear the first hurdle last week with Angers v Monaco having more corners in it than we thought. That made the fact that Juventus didn't score at Como (we needed BTTS in that one) irrelevant though Atletico Madrid did their bit with a home win against Osasuna.
But we're still in profit thanks to the previous week's win so let's try and improve on that.
Weekend Football Accumulator Tips - Our Cross-European Treble
- Brest v PSG
- Saturday October 25 16:00
- Back Over 1.5 Away Goals @ 4/11
PSG have scored plenty of goals of late, and that's putting it mildly. In midweek, they beat Bayer Leverkusen 7-2. At the weekend, it was 3-3. Before that, it was 1-1, and before that, it was 2- 1 away at Barcelona.
So that's 31 goals scored in 12 matches so far this season, an average of 2.58 a game.
They shouldn't have too much trouble getting two away at Brest, particularly now that Ousmane Dembele is back after injury. He scored one off the bench against Bayer on Wednesday.
In their last seven visits to Brest in Ligue 1, PSG won 5-2, 3-2, 2-1, 4-2, 2-0, 2-1, and 3-0, so over 1.5 away goals would have been a winner in all of them. It's not a hard choice to make.
- Sassuolo v Roma
- Sunday October 26 14:00
- Back Under 2.5 goals @ 8/11
Backing under 2.5 goal matches when Roma are in action has been a good strategy for this column so far this season, whether it was a winning week for us, or not.
For a brief moment, I almost forgot that José Mourinho wasn't in charge of Roma anymore when I saw that last week, not only did they lose, but it was in a typically low-scoring affair.
They lost 1-0 at home to Inter, although the stats suggest 1-1 or 0-2 would have been a somewhat more appropriate scoreline, given the number of shots in the game.
But still. That's 4/4 'unders' matches for them at home, 3/4 on the road and (obviously) 7/8 for the season.
Opponents Sassuolo are 2/3 for 'unders' at home, including the last two, while they're 2/4 on the road.
When these two played each other last season, it was 1-0 in Rome and 1-2 in Sassuolo, with quite a late goal, so almost both matches stayed unders. Add to the equation that Roma will be tired from a Thursday night Europa game, and you'd think the tendency would be for them to play even tighter than usual.
One last stat: nine of Roma's last 11 games on the road have had two goals or less. It's hard to argue with that stat, too.
- Osasuna v Celta de Vigo
- Sunday October 26 17:30
- Back Both teams to Score @ 4/5
Whenever the next UEFA awards come along, they should give Celta Vigo a special prize. Why? Never in all my life have I seen a team draw five home matches in a row, by the same 1-1 scoreline. That's a pretty remarkable feat and there may be another of those 1-1s when they're next in action at home. We'll have to wait till next week to see what happens there.
But if that's remarkable enough, how about the fact that 2/3 of their away matches also ended 1-1? The other one ended in a 2-1 defeat at Elche so that's 6/7 BTTS matches for Celta this season.
Last season, 63% of their home games and 73% of their away games would have been BTTS winners.
Before you ask, the price on 1-1 in the correct score market is 5/1 and given what I've just said, I wouldn't put anyone off taking that.
But of course, that's not the sort of risk we take on just one selection here at the 3-3-3 column, so it should come as no surprise to you that it's the 'Yes' option on BTTS that we're interested in.
Osasuna aren't the biggest BTTS candidates in the world with a 50% strike rate for goals at both ends this season, but the two that went that way were the most recent ones, ending 1-1 (!) and 2-1. But as we know, Celta are, and for good measure, this fixture ended 3-2 last year.
Jamie's Fun Fact
When PSG scored seven away at Bayer Leverkusen in midweek, they came from six different sources, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia the only player to score twice.
