Weekend Football Accumulator Tips: 3/1 Cross-European Treble for our 3-3-3 Column

The 3-3-3 column sees our European Weekend Accumulator tipster take a trip through Spain, Italy and Portugal this week as he looks to built on his current Profit/Loss stats for the 25/26 season.
Let's see if Jamie can do this thing as we take a look at his Weekend Accumulator Football Tips with the latest instalment of his 3-3-3 column...
Weekend Football Accumulator Tips - Cross European Treble
- Alaves v Real Sociedad - Back both teams to score @ 1/1
- Cagliari v Roma - Back under 2.5 goals @ 4/6
- Tondela v Porto - Back Porto to win @ 1/4
- Treble Odds @ 3.16/1
Last year, the 3-3-3 column returned a profit of 17 points, which means that if you'd backed every treble recommended over the course of the season for level £10 stakes, you'd be up by £170. That's one of the better returns you'll see in the tipping business and speaking of returns, Jamie Pacheco is returning again this year to do try to do it all over again, and maybe even improve on it.
Welcome to the 3-3-3 betting column. Why is it called that? Glad you asked. It's not a formation to play when you've had a man sent off but rather:
3 - The number of different selections making up the acca.
3 - The number of different (non-English) European Leagues the selections are taken from every week.
3 - The minimum odds (3/1) or 4.0 if you prefer, that the acca will come to it every week.
And it really is as simple as that. The selections can be from any betting markets, as long as they meet the criteria set out above. And to round things off, every week I'll leave you with a cool (or at least I think so) bit of trivia involving one of the teams featured in the acca. Simples...
2025-26 season Current P and L: +5.97 pts
2024-25 season's P and L: + 16.9
No winner last week with just 1/3 coming good, which, as we know, is the same as 0/3 coming good, or 2/3. But we noted Roma's increasingly excellent record when it comes to producing under 2.5 goals and 'no' on both teams to score matches (the one selection that did win last week), so they're one to keep on monitoring. And to include in this week's selections again, as you'll soon find out.
- Alaves v Real Sociedad
- Saturday, December 6, 15:15
- Back both teams to score @ 1/1
It's not often that you see what can be considered a 'wrong' price on a popular betting market on a match from a major league like La Liga but we may have just found one here on the 'yes' option for both teams to score.
After all, Alaves have a 71.4% strike rate when it comes to BTTSS at home and are up against a team in Sociedad who have an even better one at 85.7%, in away matches, which is six out of seven. Proof of the fact that Sociedad are fans of high-scoring games is that they also have a BTTS strike rate of 71.4% when away from home.
I was wondering if the price was higher than what I thought it would be as a result of 'yes' not paying out often when it came to the matches between these two, but that isn't the case either, given it's three from the last six with goals at both ends. So it really is a very good price.
- Cagliari v Roma
- Sunday, December 7, 14:00
- Back Under 2.5 goals @ 4/6
Ah, Roma. Here we go.
I don't think Roma have let us down all season here at the 3-3-3 column and have contributed to our good profit on numerous occasions.
Basically, we've taken the view that their matches tend to be tight as hell and that if there are matches in Europe where you'd expect goals to be at a premium, it's theirs.
Here's the proof. Just 14% of their home matches have gone over 2.5 goals, and it's just 33.3% on the road that have gone that way.
Opponents Cagliari aren't fans of high-scoring matches either: just 33.3% have gone overs at home and 42% in away matches in Serie A.
The two matches between them last season ended 1-0 and 0-0, so that's another rug of comfort.
- Tondela v Porto
- Sunday, December 7, 20:30
- Back Porto to win @ 1/4
As readers of the column will know only too well, the great thing about having two 'relatively' big-priced selections first up is that it gives us a lot of freedom with the last one.
And that's Porto at just 1/4 to beat Tondela. It's top versus 16th place (out of 18), so that alone suggests it should be pretty straightforward for Porto.
They've won their last five in the league, against better teams than Tondela, and have beaten them in this fixture in each of the last five, so I don't think we need to go into any more detail than that.
Jamie's Fun Fact
Tondela have two players who are real 'blasts from the past' on their books: Canizares and Bebeto. Of course, they're not 'the' Canizares and Bebeto, but still...
