The 3-3-3 column this week takes in a rare trip to the Bundesliga. Our tipster prefers to roll through France, Italy, Spain and Portugal but with it being cup weekend in a pair of them - Germany gets a visit and Bayern Munich are involved in the third leg of the weekend.

Let's see if Jamie can do this thing as we take a look at his Weekend Accumulator Football Tips with the latest instalment of his 3-3-3 column...

Weekend Football Accumulator Tips - Cross European Treble

  • Levante vs Real Sociedad - Back under 2.5 goals @ 10/11

Last year, the 3-3-3 column returned a profit of 17 points, which means that if you'd backed every treble recommended over the course of the season for level £10 stakes, you'd be up by £170. That's one of the better returns you'll see in the tipping business and speaking of returns, Jamie Pacheco is returning again this year to do try to do it all over again, and maybe even improve on it.

Welcome to the 3-3-3 betting column. Why is it called that? Glad you asked. It's not a formation to play when you've had a man sent off but rather:

3 - The number of different selections making up the acca.

3 - The number of different (non-English) European Leagues the selections are taken from every week.

3 - The minimum odds (3/1) or 4.0 if you prefer, that the acca will come to it every week.

And it really is as simple as that. The selections can be from any betting markets, as long as they meet the criteria set out above. And to round things off, every week I'll leave you with a cool (or at least I think so) bit of trivia involving one of the teams featured in the acca. Simples...

2025-26 season Current P and L: +3.97 pts

2024-25 season's P and L: + 16.9

Just the one correct pick last week with Celta v Bilbao staying low-scoring as we expected, but no joy with the other two.

So it's been a few weeks since our last win here at the 3-3-3 column but as we know, we're still almost 4 points up. And as we also know, one win at odds of at least 3/1, as per the rules of the column, will put us in a strong profit position again.

Let's get straight to it and try to secure another win just before Christmas.

  • Juventus v Roma
  • Saturday 20 December 19:45
  • Back Under 2.5 Goals @ 8/13

This year I'll be spending Xmas in Rome. That's not the start of a joke; I really am.

But it's a shame that I'll be going there over the festive period, as I can't imagine they'll be doing much training at Roma until close to their next match. Because boy, would I love to see them during a training session.

I can only imagine all they do is practice defending in general, defending set pieces in particular, and trying to work out new and inventive ways to keep their matches as low-scoring as possible. I'd be surprised if they even practiced shooting themselves.

How else can you explain that only 1/8 of their home matches so far this season have gone over 2.5 goals? Or that just 2/7 away from home have gone 'overs? Interestingly, their matches in Europe have had a few more goals but then again, those aren't the matches we're concerned with.

This weekend they meet Juventus and here's another good reason why we like 'unders' here: all of the last six matches between these two have stayed under 2.5 goals, finishing 1-1 three times, 0-0 once and there were then two 1-0 wins, one for each team.

Juve have a 57% strike rate this season for 'unders' matches at home so it's an easy choice to make.

  • Levante v Real Sociedad
  • Sunday 21 December 15:15
  • Back Both teams to score @ 8/11

Real Sociedad probably wouldn't be the first team you'd think of betting on every weekend, but they're becoming something of the darlings of 'yes' backers on the both teams to score (BTTS) market.

After all, they've delivered a winner there in 75% of both their home and away matches this season in La Liga, including in each of their last four at home, and five of their last six away.

Opponents Levante aren't quite as prolific as them when it comes to delivering on that option, but they're no slouches, either with a 66.7% strike rate at home, where the match takes place. All of the last four between them at Levante saw goals at both ends.

It could be a perfect storm for BTTS. Let's hope so.

  • Heidenheim v Bayern Munich
  • Sunday 21 December 16:30
  • Back Over 2.5 Away Goals @ 1/2

Regular readers of this column will know that in addition to France and Italy (already included), the treble typically also includes a selection from either Portugal or France.

But it's the Cup this weekend in both Portugal and France, so I won't include matches from either of those countries. Instead, I'll turn to Bayern Munich over in Germany and trust them to get 3 goals or more when they travel to Heidenheim, who are second from bottom.

More to the point, here are the number of goals Bayern have scored away from home this season, latest first: 5,2,3,3,4 and 3. They won 4-0 here last year so I'd be disappointed if they don't get those three goals.

Jamie's Fun Fact

We all know Harry Kane has plenty of goals for Bayern Munich, but he's going to have to seriously get his skates on if he's to beat Gerd Müller's all-time record of 570 goals for the Bavarian outfit.
