Saturday Football Tips: 4.24/1 shot coming your way

Last year, the 3-3-3 column returned a profit of 17 points, which means that if you’d backed every treble recommended over the course of the season for level £10 stakes, you’d be up by £170.
That’s one of the better returns you’ll see in the tipping business and speaking of returns, Jamie Pacheco is returning again this year to do try to do it all over again, and maybe even improve on it.
Saturday Football Tips - Cross European Treble
- Barcelona v Villarreal – Back Over 2.5 Goals @ 2/7.
- Inter Milan v Genoa- Back Inter to win and over 2.5 goals @ 9/10
- Le Havre v PSG- Back both teams to score @ 8/11
Treble Odds @ 4.24/1

Welcome to the 3-3-3 betting column. Why is it called that? Glad you asked. It’s not a formation to play when you’ve had a man sent off but rather:
3- The number of different selections making up the acca.
3- The number of different (non-English) European Leagues the selections are taken from every week.
3- The minimum odds (3/1) or 4.0 if you prefer, that the acca will come to it every week.
And it really is as simple as that. The selections can be from any betting markets, as long as they meet the criteria set out above. And to round things off, every week I’ll leave you with a cool (or at least I think so) bit of trivia involving one of the teams featured in the acca. Simples...
2025-26 season Current P and L: +19.35 pts
2024-25 season’s P and L: + 16.9
2/3 last week with Celta v Mallorca not having goals at both ends (it ended 2-0) but in truth, Mallorca didn’t have much in the way of chances, so we don’t
feel too hard-done-by about the whole thing.
Elsewhere, Porto’s game stayed low on goals as expected, and Cagliari v Lazio ended 0-0 when we just needed fewer than three goals.
But of course, the above is irrelevant in light of the fact that we didn’t get BTTs in that Celta game.
Profits are still excellent, though, and on we go.
Barcelona v Villarreal
Saturday 28 February 15:15
Back over 2.5 goals @ 2/7
I don’t think we need to go into any huge detail here when justifying a 2/7 shot other than to say the stats seriously suggest we’ll get three goals or more.
Barcelona have a 91% strike rate (11/12 games) for ‘overs’ games at home this season, with a 77% strike rate away from home, so there really have been plenty of goals when they’re in La Liga. Villarreal are 50% when away this campaign.
The last three here in Barcelona between these two ended 2-3, 3-5, and 3-0, so you can see why I’m not keen on including a Barca win here, but we should really get goals, shouldn’t we?
Inter v Genoa
Saturday 28 February 19:45
Back Inter win and over 2.5 goals @ 9/10
Inter suffered a shock defeat in midweek against Bodo Glimt, losing 2-1 at home after they’d lost the first leg 3-1 away. It really was a big ‘upset’ as per the odds but then again, Bodo are an excellent team who played a brilliant brand of attacking football so maybe it wasn’t such a big surprise after all.
In light of that, it may seem a bit odd to be siding with Inter this week, but then again, these are very different circumstances because they’ve been extremely good in Serie A.
They’ve won five of their last six at home, only slipping up (2-2) against an ever-competitive Napoli side and what’s worth taking note of is that four of those five wins were with over 2.5 goals in the game.
The last two ended 6-2 and 3-2, so they’ve been scoring plenty.
There’s been a trend in the last few years for comfortable Inter wins in this fixture in Milan. Here are the last six, most recent first: 1-0, 2-1, 4-0, 3-0, 4-0, 5-0. So the 9/10 that Inter win with over 2.5 goals in the match looks a solid bet.
Le Havre v PSG
Saturday 28th February 20:05
Back both teams to score @ 8/11
Here’s another one where we’re hoping for goals but in a slightly different way this time.
Le Havre have a 50% record for BTTS when at home this season, including their last two ending 2-1.
PSG also have a 50% record for BTTS when away this campaign and also saw both of their last two go that way, beating Strasbourg 2-1 and losing 3-1 at Rennes.
And they showed their games have the potential for goals at both ends when they drew 2-2 with Monaco in midweek in the Champions League.
It was 4-1 when they met at Le Havre last year, 0-2 the year before that, and 1-3 the year before that, so the stats suggest both teams can get on the scoresheet.
Jamie’s Fun Fact
PSG games are a good place to go if it’s goals you want to see.
Including two games against Monaco in the Champions League, four of their last five had four or more goals in them, ending 5-0, 3-1, 2-3, 3-0 and 2-2-.
And all of their last five goals were scored by different players.
