We’ve got a load of football coming our way on Saturday and I’ve taken a look at the EFL fixtures to try and find out where the goals are going to be.

Coventry City vs West Brom (12:30) @ 10/11

Coventry have scored a ridiculous 40 goals in 15 games this season and look to be a class above the other teams in the league right now. Frank Lampard’s men attack with excellent dynamism and have so many ways of scoring, which means 10 of their 15 outings (67%) have seen over 2.5 goals so far. 

Half of West Brom’s away games have seen over 2.5 goals as well, so I think this is a great place to start. 

Football Odds

QPR vs Hull City (15:00) @ 10/11

The only team with a better over 2.5 goal success rate than Coventry in the Championship is Hull City. Eleven of their 15 games have seen a winner in this market, and there’s been over 2.5 goals in four of their last six games. 

QPR have seen over 2.5 goals in two of their last three and I do have concerns about them from a defensive standpoint. I think this is a decent price for more goals. 

Wolves vs Crystal Palace (15:00) @ 1/1

Rob Edwards is back at Wolves, and for this selection, I’m hoping he makes an instant impact in an attacking sense. The Molineux club have only scored seven goals in 11 Premier League games this season and sit rock-bottom, conceding a massive 25 in that same time frame. 

Interestingly, 80% of their home matches have seen over 2.5 goals, while Crystal Palace have seen it come in during 60% of their away games. That makes this a good match-up as Wolves look to get up and running under a new manager. 

Birmingham City vs Norwich City (15:00) @ 10/11

Another new manager takes charge of his first game here as Philippe Clement has come in to try and save the day at Norwich City. They have massively struggled this season under Liam Manning, especially at home, with Josh Sargent not being utilised correctly. 

Meanwhile, Birmingham secured back-to-back 4-0 wins before losing 2-1 to Boro, meaning their last three outings have seen over 2.5 goals. Entertainment is expected at St Andrew’s.

Bolton Wanderers vs Bradford City (15:00) @ 8/11

In League 1, there’s a mighty clash between two promotion chasers as third-placed Bradford travel to face Bolton (fourth). The Bantams top the charts in the third tier for over 2.5 goals, with 10 of their 15 outings ending with three goals or more. 

Their form has dropped off slightly recently, and Bolton will pose a tough test, but I can certainly see both sides scoring. This should be a great encounter, so let’s round off our acca with another over 2.5 goals pick, taking the price to 23/1.
