Bologna draw no bet vs Aston Villa @ 6/5
Aston Villa will hope their Premier League position will carry them into next season’s Champions League, but Unai Emery’s men look to have a job staying in Europe this term.
The Villans have won only four of their last 11 games and there has certainly been a regression in results over recent months.
That’s not a huge surprise, given Villa have massively outperformed their expected goals numbers this term, and a trip to Bologna looks no easy task.
The Red and Blues were the better side in each of the two legs of their Europa League last-16 tie with Serie A rivals Roma and they have lost just two of their previous 12 matches in all competitions.
Bologna only lost 1-0 at Villa Park in the league stage of this competition, winning the shot count 17-12, and they can gain a positive result to take into next week's return visit to Birmingham.
Porto to beat Nottingham Forest @ 11/10
Sporting CP gave a clear indication of the strength of the Portuguese top flight when running Arsenal close in a 1-0 loss on Tuesday night and rivals Porto can down Nottingham Forest.
The Dragons have been beaten just twice in their last 24 matches and Stuttgart were dismissed 4-1 on aggregate in the previous round of the Europa League.
Crystal Palace to beat Fiorentina @ 7/10
Crystal Palace have lost only one of their last eight games and appear to be back on track following mid-season upheaval both on and off the pitch.
Oliver Glasner’s men boast a robust defence, which has conceded only five times on that good run, and Palace can not only stand firm, but beat Serie A strugglers Fiorentina.
Rayo Vallecano to beat AEK Athens @ Evs
Rayo Vallecano were comfortable winners over Samsunspor at the last-16 stage of the Europa League and a tie against AEK Athens may not demand too much more.
Rayo have lost just two of their last 10 games and it’s only three defeats in 20 matches at their El Campo de Futbol de Vallecas home this season.
Over 2.5 goals in Shakhtar Donetsk vs AZ Alkmaar @ 8/11
AZ Alkmaar have scored 22 goals in their last 10 matches and six of their last seven contests have gone over 2.5 goals.
The Dutch side have seen eight of their previous 11 away games bust the 2.5 mark and there were seven strikes in the two legs of Shakhtar Donetsk's last-16 tie with Lech Poznan in the Conference League.
