FF Jaro win or draw double chance vs SJK

Only the miserable Mariehamn are keeping FF Jaro and SJK from the bottom of the Finland Veikkausliiga table, but the 11th-placed hosts can defy the odds and add to their points tally after a couple of positive results.

Jaro have claimed four points from their last two games and 10 of their 12 points this season have been won at the Project Liv Arena.

They have only lost one of their last seven in front of their own fans, including a draw against second-placed Inter Turku last time out.

SJK have won only one of their eight league away games this season and have already failed to beat Jaro twice in 2026.

Over 2.5 goals in Viborg vs Odense

Despite finishing six points adrift of Viborg in the regular season, Odense won two high-scoring meetings with Friday’s hosts last term and they can play their part in another thriller to raise the curtain on the 2026/27 Danish Superliga.

Viborg’s 32 games across the season produced exactly 100 goals and Odense’s averaged a slightly higher 3.47 goals per game.

Over 2.5 goals has landed in each of the last six Danish Superliga meetings between Viborg and Odense and both teams have found the net in each of these encounters, so expect a high-scoring start to the Danish season on Friday.

Vasteras to win to nil vs Orgryte

Orgryte are only four points off the bottom of the table and have scored a Sweden Allsvenskan-low three goals away from home, and they may struggle to get on the board against a Vasteras side that have tightened up considerably in recent weeks.

Vasteras have kept clean sheets against Degerfors and Mjallby in their last two games, including a 2-0 win at home against Degerfors.

Mjallby have lost their last four league away games by an aggregate scoreline of 11-0 and were beaten 2-0 by Vasteras in their last meeting in last season’s Superettan.

Both teams to score in St Patrick’s Athletic vs Dundalk

Both St Patrick’s Athletic and Dundalk enjoyed FAI Cup success last weekend, but attention returns to the Irish Premier Division this Friday as Dundalk look to close the gap on third-placed Super Saints.

Friday’s visitors may lag behind their rivals by seven points, but they have scored just one fewer goal than St Patrick’s and look set to play their part in a high-scoring game.

The Lilywhites’ 3-1 win over St Mochta’s last time out was the fifth successive game in which both teams have found the net and they put two past St Patrick’s the last time these sides met in April.

Both teams to score has landed in the Saints’ last two games, and a third in a row looks likely against the free-scoring Dundalk.
