There’s plenty of football action, both domestically and internationally coming this Saturday, and that gives us a great opportunity to put together an Anytime Goalscorer Acca.

Erling Haaland - Norway vs Israel @ 4/11

Norway are flying right now with five wins out of five, and their main man is spearheading their charge to the World Cup. Haaland has now scored an incredible 48 goals in 45 international matches and he leads the way in Uefa’s World Cup qualifying for goals with nine in five.

The numbers are just ridiculous, with the big Norwegian scoring nine in seven for Man City this season at club level. The odds are not long, but it’s well worth relying on the best striker in the world to get our acca off to a winning start.

Cristiano Ronaldo - Portugal vs Republic or Ireland @ 8/15

I’m backing Cristiano Ronaldo to score a goal. Shock. In the week he reportedly became the first billionaire footballer, he is also back in the Portugal squad and looking to add to his 113 goals in 223 international caps.

For those that are worried about him slowing down - he is going to play until he hits 1000 goals, and he has scored six in six for Portugal in 2025. The team around him continue to supply him with chances and as a result, he should be able to find the net against a shaky Republic of Ireland outfit.

Samuel Aghehowa - Spain vs Georgia @ 8/11

Taking a slightly different angle for this next game, as Spain are without Lamine Yamal, Alvaro Morata and Inaki Williams for the test against Georgia. It’s a game they should win regardless of absentees, but the front three is likely to take on a fresh look.

One man who should lead the line is Porto’s Samuel Aghehowa. He’s had a remarkable rise since moving to Porto instead of Chelsea in 2024, and has now scored 24 league goals in 37 appearances for the club. He’s still only 21, and looks to be the future of Spain’s attack, so this should be a great chance for him to stake his claim for a starting spot at the World Cup.

Mason Burstow - Burton Albion vs Bolton Wanderers @ 7/5

Bolton are currently in eighth in League 1, but they are steadily climbing back towards the play-offs and they are being led there by a forward who is desperate to make his mark. Mason Burstow, on loan from Hull City, is currently the top scorer in the third tier having bagged seven goals in 11 appearances so far this season.

The former Chelsea youngster struggled at Hull last term having arrived for £2m, but he clearly has qualities and is still developing. He can certainly perform at Championship level moving forward, but a season scoring plenty of goals in League 1 looks to be exactly what he needs right now. Bolton travel to a Burton Albion outfit that sit 21st and are in serious relegation danger - so Burstow should be able to find the net again.

Michael Cheek - Crewe Alexandra vs Bromley @ 7/4

Michael Cheek is a goalscoring sensation at Bromley. He’s scored five goals in 11 this season, but last term scooped the League 2 Golden Boot award with 25 goals in 45. He’s so reliable in front of goal and Bromley have now scored 17 goals this term as a team.

While Crewe Alex have been defensively solid this season, conceding just 12 goals in 11 league outings, both teams have scored in five of their last six outings - so there should be goals on the cards. Cheek can land one on the Raileywaymen and round off our, hopefully successful, accumulator.
