My colleague and the usual custodian of this article, Conor Keane, is off, so I’m taking a shot at this Saturday’s Anytime Goalscorer Tips.

Conor has come close in recent weeks, even landing a 20/1 winner, but I’m looking to take things a step further as we put together an Anytime Goalscorer Acca. Check it out.

Anytime Goalscorer Tips - Saturday, November 1

  • Bryan Mbeumo vs Nottingham Forest @ 2/1

Kevin vs Wolves @ 3/1

My tactic for this five-fold is to look for teams that are struggling, and pick likely goalscorers from the favourites to win the fixtures. It makes sense in my head, so let’s see how it plays out.

First up, when we talk about strugglers we have to mention Wolves. They are the worst team in the Premier League and have amassed just two points from nine fixtures. This looks to be another tough test, but Fulham have Rodrigo Muniz still missing through injury and Raul Jimenez needs to be assesed after coming off in midweek.

Therefore I’m hoping Kevin will get a start in the final third, and given his talent, I’m backing him to get off the mark at a big price.

Bryan Mbeumo vs Nottingham Forest @ 2/1

Manchester United have now won three games in a row and are absolutely flying. It’s been quite the turnaround for Ruben Amorim who has seemingly steadied the ship after getting through some very rough waters.

Their next test takes them to Nottingham Forest, who are trying to find their feet after their own rocky start. Already on their third manager of the season, Sean Dyche, they will be hoping to rack up some points. Bryan Mbeumo has been in banging form for United, scoring five goals in 10 appearances for his new team and three in his last two Premier League outings. Let’s back him to get another.

Joe Gelhardt vs Norwich City @ 5/2

Norwich City are another team in turmoil. Liam Manning remains in post despite overseeing five home defeats on the trot in the league and the Canaries haven’t won any of their last eight, leaving them in 23rd in the Championship.

They host Hull City, who are going well, but they are missing Oli McBurnie through injury. He’s scored six goals and got four assists in 10 games to date, but Joe Gelhardt started up front and scored against Charlton Athletic last time out. I’ll back the Leeds loanee to find the net against this weak Norwich outfit.

Isaac Price vs Sheffield Wednesday @ 6/4

Sheffield Wednesday received some positive news last week as the club was placed into administration, meaning hopefully a buyer is on the horizon. It means the Dejphon Chansiri era is coming to an end and now the fans are back enthused with their club.

Despite all the good news, on the pitch they still have the weakest squad and now sit on -6 points following a 12-point deduction. West Brom should be able to find a home win, with Isaac Price their standout player. He’s scored five goals from attacking midfield in 12 games so far and he’s a top talent that should prove too strong for Wednesday.

Claudio Braga vs Dundee @ 5/6

“All we need is Claudio Braga (clap clap), Claudio Braga (clap clap)” to the tune of Radio Gaga may be the best chant in football right now, and Hearts are being given plenty of chances to sing it. They sit top of the Scottish Premiership and with Celtic and Rangers floundering the door looks to be open for them to win the title.

They are massive favourites to beat 11th-placed Dundee on Saturday, and Braga should be able to add to his six goals in 10 league appearances for the club.
