A stunning last-ball victory for the West Indies in the second T20 levelled the series, meaning it's winner takes all in the third and final clash.

Dan Thomas returns with his best bets for the decider, live on TNT Sports from 01:00 on Monday, as he gives us his West Indies vs Pakistan Predictions…

The state of play

A Jason Holder-inspired West Indies pulled off a dramatic last-ball victory on Saturday night to level the series at 1-1.

Pakistan posted 133 for 9 on a tricky, two‑paced surface where the Windies were largely on the money across the 20 overs. Akeal Hosein impressed, going for a single boundary as he returned 1 for 16 off his four overs, but Holder stole the show. Opening the bowling, he returned figures of 4 for 19 across two phases, and later walked in during the chase and struck a last‑ball boundary under pressure to help his side win the match by two wickets

A late, explosive fifth‑wicket stand from Salman Agha and Hasan Nawaz had helped Pakistan threaten 150, with Romario Shepherd hit by the latter for three straight sixes at one point, but the return of Holder dragged them back.

The Windies also struggled to get going on a difficult surface, illustrated by the usually elegant Shai Hope's scratchy 21 off 30 deliveries, and were well behind the rate before Holder's late rescue effort, as he hit 16 off 10 balls to win it.

Pitch Report

Lauderhill's surface in the second T20 proved slow and tricky, with variable bounce and grip for spinners. Batters struggled for fluency in both innings, particularly early on, and timing was difficult on a two-paced pitch, rewarding those who took their time or used the sweep effectively.

Spinners Mohammad Nawaz and Gudakesh Motie profited from holding the ball back, while seamers who varied their pace fared best. Expect similar conditions for the decider.

Weather Forecast

There is a 25% chance of rain in Lauderhill for the scheduled start time but that is clearing through and a full match is expected.

West Indies vs Pakistan 3rd IT20 Odds

No changes on the match odds market from the second T20, with West Indies and Pakistan both available at 10/11, reflecting the balanced nature of the series after an even contest. Hope remains favourite to top score for the West Indies at a skinny looking 13/5, despite struggling in both matches, while opener Saib Ayub and number three Fakhar Zaman head the top batter market for the visitors, at 7/2.

Top Batter

Given the difficult nature of the pitch, the value definitely remains down the order for the Windies; Motie won last time out with just 28 and is 12/1 to repeat here. Holder is likely to be brimming with confidence after his match-winning performance and is also a 12/1 chance.

I suggested Hasan Nawaz was an attractive price to top score for Pakistan at 11/2 in the second T20 and he duly delivered with an explosive 40, including four maximums. Having stopped short of putting him up as a recommended bet last time out, I'll rectify that - especially as he's been pushed out to 6/1.

Top Bowler

Holder and Joseph, who bowled nicely to get 1-22 off his four in the second match, are chalked up as joint favourites for the Windies here at 10/3, but I fancy spin will be key again and Motie and Hosein would be the the preference and 9/2 and 4/1 respectively.

With the pitch in mind, Saim Ayub might not be the worst shout at 6/1 for Pakistan with his off-breaks - he bowled his full allocation in the second match and picked up two wickets.

Best Bets

The traders can't split the teams after the opening two encounters and neither can I so we will leave the match odds alone for this one. As touched upon, the pitch isn't getting any easier to score on, so definitely value to be had looking down the order and I'll back Hasan Nawaz to continue his solid form - 24 off 18 and 40 off 23 - at 6/1 to top score for the visitors.
