SRH vs RR Odds
Sunrisers Hyderabad are 4/5 favourites to win this clash, while Rajasthan Royals are evens to get the victory. Abhishek Sharma is 14/5 to top score for SRH, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi is 13/5 to be RR’s top batter.
Team News
Neither team is likely to make many changes from their sides, which finished the last game of the season. Dasun Shanaka continues to be preferred to Shimron Hetmyer for Rajasthan Royals.
SRH @ 4/5
Rajasthan Royals have done well to make it into this year’s IPL play-offs after beginning the season as one of the betting outsiders to win the title.
Propelled by a power-packed top order they managed to win their last two games against Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants to sneak over the line and secure a place in this year’s Eliminator.
However, those two teams finished bottom of the pile, and Sunrisers Hyderabad represent a significant step up in class on that level.
No team won more games than SRH in the regular season, with their 0.524 net run rate the only reason that they missed out on a spot in Qualifier 1.
They have won the last six head-to-heads between these two teams, including two comfortable successes this season, and have the better play-off record of the pair in recent years.
While RR have lost four of their last seven games, SRH finished well, winning eight of their last ten as the arrival of their captain Pat Cummins following an injury galvanised the squad.
It’s hard to see past SRH repeating their impressive record against these opponents and they are fancied to book their place in Qualifier 2.

Heinrich Klaasen top SRH batter @ 3/1
Heinrich Klaasen has been a real standout performer for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season, finishing the regular season with the third-most runs of any player in the IPL, 606.
That came at an average of 50.50 with six half-centuries and the South African showed no signs of slowing down at the end of the season, with totals of 69, 65 not out, 51 and 47 in his last six innings.
Abhishek Sharma is undoubtedly respected at the top of the market, but Klaasen definitely looks like a value alternative to top score for SRH.
