The pressure is on Delhi Capitals to get a result when they host the reigning IPL champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, on Monday.

DC have lost four of their last five matches, including Saturday's six-wicket defeat to Punjab Kings. That result came in spite of posting 264, including KL Rahul's stunning 152 not out.

Their death bowling was again exposed and RCB can approach this game with confidence, having won three of their last four and beaten Gujarat Titans by five wickets when last in action on Friday.

Delhi's sole win in their recent poor run was against RCB on April 18th, but Monday's visitors can get revenge.

The Royal Challengers finally won the IPL in 2025 and, with the 2026 campaign entering its business end, this is a chance for the champions to turn the screw on the inconsistent Capitals.

DC vs RCB Odds

Delhi are 6/5 to repeat the victory they achieved on April 18, with RCB 4/6 for revenge.

Team News

Mitchell Starc has been cleared to join Delhi following injury, but this game may come too soon, with his first appearance likely to come on Friday against Rajasthan Royals.

Fellow Australian seamer Josh Hazlewood is expected to bookend the RCB attack alongside Suyash Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Phil Salt isn't going to recover in time.

RCB to win @ 4/6

Despite that recent reverse, RCB have more often had DC's number in their previous meetings, winning 20 of their 33 IPL head-to-heads.

They won by six wickets when the pair met at the Arun Jaitley Stadium a year to the day of Monday's match and the balance of their side makes them appear set up for success here, and potentially beyond.

Sharma, Kumar and Hazlewood have all played well at the death to limit opponents' momentum in their final overs.

Combined with DC's inability to defend totals, this looks like a great chance to avenge their defence on April 18th.

They have the talent to exploit a vulnerable rival while maintaining their position among the IPL's elite.

Virat Kohli top RCB batter @ 2/1

While their bowling unit continues to improve, RCB's batting line-up has never been in doubt.

Virat Kohli leads them and is enjoying a fine IPL season, tallying 657 runs from his 15 matches at an average of 54.75.

The opener may still be reeling from his relatively meek 19 against Delhi in their previous meeting.

After finally winning the IPL last year, he appears in no mood to relinquish the title and is tipped to go big in Delhi.
