There is plenty of footballing action taking place on Tuesday evening including a lot of Euro 2024 qualifiers. It is from one of these fixtures that we have selected as our bet of the day.

Switzerland have been excellent so far in Group I of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. They are currently two points clear at the top of the table with 11 points and there is one player who has been the catalyst for them getting into this strong position, striker Zeki Amdouni.

The forward is hoping he can return to his goalscoring form on the international stage after blanking in his side’s 2-2 draw with Kosovo on Saturday. Amdouni was withdrawn after an hour last time out, so the player will be eager to get more minutes on the pitch to give him a better chance of getting on the scoresheet again.

Amdounu has scored five goals in five Euro 2024 qualifiers so far, including a brace against Romania in June. Next up is a clash with Andorra, who are bottom of Group I, in Sion. The Swiss won the reverse fixture 2-1 earlier in the year and Amdouni was on the scoresheet on that occasion. This will give him a mental advantage when he lines up against the Andorran defenders again.

We feel that a price of 3/1 on Amdouni to register another brace in qualifying offers great value against Andorra, especially as three points for the Swiss would take them one giant step closer to reaching next summer’s finals in Germany.

For Amdouni himself, he will feel that he is still adjusting to life in the Premier League with Burnley, with whom he has not been able to get off the mark this term. A couple of goals against Andorra right before he returns to England might be exactly what he and his club needs to get up and running in the top flight.
