Arsenal vs Manchester United Tips

  • Bukayo Saka to score anytime @ 9/5
  • Arsenal to win and over 2.5 total goals @ 11/8

Team news

Arsenal remain without defender Jurrien Timber, who is going to be sidelined for much of the season.  Gabriel Jesus returned to training last week, so he could have a role to play against Manchester United.

The visitors are without full-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, plus midfielder Mason Mount. Striker Rasmus Hojlund could be in line to make the squad for the first time this season which would come as a huge boost for the Red Devils.

Bukayo Saka to score anytime @ 9/5

Arsenal are hoping to make another push for the Premier League title this season and winger Bukayo Saka will be crucial in helping the Gunners reach their ambitions. He scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in the Premier League last term, including two goals against United (one at home and one away).

The England international knows how important this fixture is to supporters given the long-standing rivalry between the two clubs and that, along with his two goals against the visitors last year, should serve him well.

Saka is one of the most dangerous attacking talents in the top flight and he will cause countless problems for whoever is deployed at left-back on Sunday.

Arsenal and over 2.5 total goals @ 11/8

The Gunners were left stunned last week as they were forced to settle for a draw with Fulham at the Emirates Stadium. Everyone knows that Mikel Arteta’s side cannot afford to drop many points if they are to push Manchester City all the way again this year. It certainly didn’t help seeing City beat Sheffield United 2-1, with the winning goal coming minutes after they conceded the equaliser.

Arsenal know that the least they have to do this year is be a solid force at home and they will be desperate to get back to winning ways against Manchester United, who have still got a lot of improving to do. The home atmosphere at the Emirates has certainly improved over the past year and the fans will be fired up for this contest.

United could give the Gunners a run for their money but Arteta’s squad should have enough to get another three points on the board this weekend.
