Player 1+ Shots on Target (Sub Switch) - Luis Diaz (COL)

Luis Diaz scored in Colombia’s first game of the World Cup, a 3-1 victory over Uzbekistan, but that remains his only goal of the tournament, although it’s not been for the want of trying.

The 29-year-old has recorded 14 shots across three subsequent appearances against DR Congo, Portugal and Ghana, registering four shots on target, two against DR Congo and two against Ghana.

Diaz averaged 1.2 shots on target in both the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League last season for club side Bayern Munich and is good for at least one against Switzerland on Tuesday.

Betfred's Sub Switch rolls your bet to the oncoming substitute, so you stay in the game, even when your player doesn’t.

Player 1+ Shots on Target (Sub Switch) - Breel Embolo (SWI)

Like Diaz, Switzerland striker Embolo scored in his country’s opening match, a 1-1 draw with Qatar, but failed to add to his tally in the group stage, but while his Colombian counterpart floundered in front of goal in the round of 32, the Stade Rennais man was on target in a 2-0 success over Algeria.

The 29-year-old has registered four shots on target at this tournament and is backed to at least test Camilo Vargas in the Cafeteros net.

Switzerland vs Colombia Odds

Player to Be Carded (Sub Switch) - Gustavo Puerta (COL)

Gustavo Puerta has committed eight fouls across his four World Cup appearances, earning a yellow card in Colombia’s goalless group-stage draw with Portugal.

The 22-year-old was shown 13 yellows and one red for Racing Santander in La Liga 2 last season and could risk the wrath of the referee in Vancouver, where he could be tasked with containing SC Freiburg star Johan Manzambi, who averaged 2.9 and 2.7 fouls won per game, respectively,  in the 2025/26 Bundesliga and UEFA Europa League.

Manzambi was taken down twice against Algeria, who saw midfielder Fares Chaibi booked for fouling him, while another midfielder, Hicham Boudaoui, was handed a yellow for upending Grant Xhaka in the Swiss engine room.

Player to Be Carded (Sub Switch) - Remo Freuler (SWI)

I’ve just mentioned Manzambi and Xhaka, but now I’m turning my attention to their third starter in midfield, Remo Freuler, who has so far avoided a booking in North America, despite committing two fouls in three of his four appearances.

The 34-year-old was booked five times in 29 Serie A games (26 starts) for Bologna last season and is likely to be kept busy on Tuesday, with Colombian midfielders Jefferson Lerma and Puerta averaging 1.2 and 1.8 fouls won per game, respectively, at this year’s World Cup.
