Colombia vs DR Congo Prediction: More delight for Diaz on Wednesday

Colombia are in the driving seat in Group K at the FIFA World Cup. Los Cafeteros were the only side to win their opening game in Group K and so a victory against DR Congo on Wednesday (8pm local time Tuesday/3am BST, ITV1/STV) at Estadio Akron will see them through to the knockout stage.

Colombia boss Nestor Lorenzo is expected to name the same XI that defeated Uzbekistan 3-1. Bayern Munich winger Luis Diaz was the star man as he contributed a goal and an assist, continuing his excellent club form.

Daniel Munoz is a right-back by trade, but as Crystal Palace fans know well, he's always looking for an opportunity to get forward and aid in the attack. He was rewarded with a goal last time out, and he'll be someone DR Congo will need to monitor closely on Wednesday.

Cucho Hernandez and Jaminton Campaz impressed from the bench, recording an assist and a goal respectively. Both will likely push for starts but they'll still be ready for more star cameos.

DR Congo overcame a shaky start against Portugal and really grew into the game. Yoane Wissa was notably impressive, making you almost forget of his troublesome first campaign with Newcastle United.

The striker netted the equaliser and he'll be a key figure for the Leopards again, as will Cedric Bakambu.

Sunderland's Noah Sadiki brought great energy from the bench and he may be promoted for this contest.
