Norway:

After a superb and dominant start to their World Cup campaign, Stale Solbakken would usually be unwilling to make any significant changes to the starting line up. However, he may be forced into a different XI than the one that thrashed Iraq 4-1, as both full backs are a slight injury doubt.

Left back David Moller Wolfe is a risk after being substitued in the second half, while right back Julian Ryerson complained of muscle fatigue after a tough ninety minutes.

Up front, Erling Haaland will once again partner Alexander Sorloth and Antonio Nusa at the head of a 4-3-3 formation.

Senegal:

Senegal performed admirably in the first half against France, before Les Bleus stretched their legs and put the Lions of Teranga to the sword.

Pape Thiaw may be tempted to make changes but instead looks likely to keep faith with his experienced names ahead of this contest.

Captain Sadio Mane will again provide the attacking threat alongside Nicholas Jackson and Ismaila Sarr.

Norway vs Senegal Key Players:

Erling Haaland (Norway) 

At one time it looked like this ridiculous goal scorer would suffer the same fate as the likes of George Best who had the misfortune to be born in a country that didn't qualify for the greatest of stages of International football. However, Haaland took no time at all to show he clearly belongs on this stage, in a 4-1 demolition of Iraq, during which he poached another two goals.

The 25-year-old giant scored the first two goals in the game to take his tally for The Vikings to 57 goals in just 51 international caps. Haaland was also back to form for his club side Manchester City this season, again picking up the Premier League Golden Boot with 27 goals.

Don't back against him being in the goals again tonight.

Ismaila Sarr (Senegal)

Sarr missed a glorious opportunity to take Senegal into half time 1-0 up against the French, but instead blazed over from inside the penalty box. That one was of three shots the Crystal Palace player had in the game and he was one of the African side's biggest threats.

The 28-year-old had probably his finest season domestically this year, scoring 21 goals in all competitions, including seven in the Eagles magnificent Conference League title win. If the Lions of Teranga are to get anything out of this game, you get the feeling that Sarr will need to be one of the main contributors.
