Sunday 7th June 2026, 7:00

Two of the fancied dark horses for the 2026 World Cup meet at the Sports Illustrated Arena in New Jersey on Sunday, as Morocco face Norway (3pm local, 8pm BST, ITV4).

Morocco reached the semi-finals of the last World Cup, while Norway have a seriously talented squad and are looking to make a splash in North America. Read on for my Morocco vs Norway predictions.

Morocco vs Norway Betting Tips

  • Erling Haaland to score anytime @ 10/11
  • Norway to win and BTTS @ 3/1

Team News

Both of these teams are expected to go strong for their final friendly, with both line-ups likely to replicate their opening World Cup games. Morocco should rely on Bilal El Khanouss in the number 10 role behind Ismael Saibari as they target another win.

Manchester United’s Noussair Mazraoui and Fulham’s Issa Dip should feature in defence with Sofyan Amrabat in midfield.

Norway beat Sweden 3-1 without Haaland, but expect him to return to the attack for this one. Jorgen Strand Larsen and Alexander Sorloth are battling it out to start up top with him, with the Crystal Palace man scoring twice in that all-Scandinavian clash.

Julian Ryersen and Oscar Bobb should link up again down the right, while Sander Berge will lock things down in the middle of the park. Martin Odegaard could also return to the midfield.

Morocco vs Norway Odds

Morocco are 21/10 to win this contest, with Norway priced at 23/20. That makes them the favourites, while a draw is 23/10.

Over 2.5 goals is 10/11, BTTS is 8/11 and Haaland is the 10/11 favourite to score anytime.

Morocco vs Norway Stats

  • Morocco reached the semi-finals of the last World Cup
  • Erling Haaland scored 27 goals in 35 Premier League matches in 25/26

Erling Haalad to score anytime @ 10/11

Decent price on a refreshed Haaland to find the net at anytime in my eyes. He needs no introduction truthfully, and along with Harry Kane, is one of the two finest forwards on the planet. A total of 27 goals in 35 Premier League appearances this season now seems the norm for this freak of nature, and he is set to have a big impact on his first World Cup.

Morocco are extremely strong and should be underestimated, but they beat Madagascar 4-0 last time out and Norway are on a completely different level in terms of quality. The dark horses go toe-to-toe and I think Haaland will get a finishing touch to put Norway ahead of the curve heading into the World Cup. Exciting times for both of these nations.

Norway to win and BTTS @ 3/1

I will back Norway to win this one as I just feel they have slightly more star quality heading into this game and they could go deep into the World Cup. Their attacking quality can match a lot of the teams in the tournament, and Morocco are also an entertaining team to watch.

Getting used to the conditions in the conditions will be tough but there’s enough off both benches for both teams to open up in the second half, while Haaland and Co. should be able to win this warm-up tie. Expectations will rise if they do…
