Thursday Greyhound Tips: A treasure trove of top tips from Hove

1 pt 20:07 Hove – Bubbly Amber (T4) @ SP

All eyes are on the Nevill Road circuit Hove this evening with eight opens and four graded races taking place at the south coast venue. At 20:07 look out for BUBBLY AMBER who lines up from T4 in the Thursday Night 695 stayers open race. This looks like a wide-open race with plenty in with chances, but preference is for the Romford raider Bubbly Amber. The October 2023 daughter of Grangeview Ten is in flying form with three wins on the bounce at her home track Romford over the six-bend 575 metre distance in recent weeks.

Tonight, Amber steps up to 695-metres, but this should suit, especially if she leads round and avoids an early bump. Kennelmate Bubbly Flame rates as a danger from T5 and could complete a one-two for trainer Paul Young. Minstrels Six (T2) is a consistent course and distance performer and has chances. Swift Jarvis (T3) returns to action following a layoff from February. The Belinda Green-trained railer is strong over this trip and would be a danger to all if fully tuned up on his comeback.

1 pt 20:24 Hove – Bubbly Sheeran (T2) @ SP

The 500 Maidens Trophy final at 20:24 can go to the Paul Young-trained flying machine BUBBLY SHEERAN, who runs from T2. The November 2024 son of King Sheeran was ultra-impressive in the heats of this competition last week, showing huge early gears following a moderate break. Bubbly Sheeran paced up well and showed excellent track craft to avoid a bump and once he hit this front, it was all over bar the shouting as he stretched clear of the chasing pack and recorded a four and a half-length success in 29.28.

Tonight, it's all eyes on the break with Blackstone Harry in T1 and Letter Eileen in T3. If Sheeran traps level his natural pace into the corner should see him lead on the rails and then its race on. Burrows Zeus rates as the main danger from T4. The Jason Heath-trained performer bolted up last week in 29.42 and would be a huge runner with a ping break. Droopys Sense (T5) will be staying on well and could be a decent forecast mixer in the race at a price.

1 pt 20:59 Hove – Ballycian Alva (T3) @  SP

The third and final selection Hove this evening is BALLYCIAN ALVA who runs from T3 in the Thursday Night 695 Maiden Stayers open race at 20:59 over the six-bend 695-metre trip. Romford raider Alva, trained by Paul Young, looks well-drawn to lead round with Bunny Buster (T1) not the quickest into the stride and Feora Cara (T4) keeping middle.

Ballycian Alva is lightly raced and open to improvement, if she pops out and leads round its race on. Solo wide seed Peroni Sarah is an interesting runner from T6. She has some solid graded form over four-bends and shapes as though this 695-metre trip would suit, especially on the bunny. Triple Upgrade (T4) has won from off the pace over four-bends and is another that should appreciate this step up in distance this evening.
