Wednesday Greyhound Tips: A triple threat of Romford’s top runners

1 pt 19:11 Romford – Brynoffa Jill (T2) @ SP

All eyes are on the London Road circuit Romford this evening, with twelve graded races taking place on an action packed competitive card. At 19:11, look out for well-drawn railer BRYNOFFA JILL, who lines up from T2. The Debbie Hurlock-trained January 2022 daughter of Dorotas Wildcat is capable of dipping below 25 seconds over this four-bend 400-metre trip and a repeat of that should see her take this A12 graded event.

The key to the race will be clearing Pharis Cashout (T1) at lid rise, do that and its race on. Aghadown Mist is a consistent performer and rates as the main danger from T4. False Time (T5) is open to improvement and is worth noting in the market. The lightly raced July 2024 son of Dromana Bucko could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 19:27 Romford – Droopys Floorish (T5) @ SP

The S5 graded race at 19:27 over the six-bend 575-metre trip can go to DROOPYS FLOORISH from T5. The Katie O’Flaherty-trained March 2024 daughter of Malachi drops into S5 company for the first time following a second-placed effort last time out in S4 grade. If you go back to the turn of the calendar year, Droopys Floorish was mixing it in S2 and S3 grades and even ran in an open race.

This represents a marked drop in grade and one she can take advantage of. If Droopys Floorish turns mid-pack and is within striking distance, it's race on. Swabys Romily (T3) could be the one to take them along in the early stages, but she could be vulnerable to a late closer off the final bend. Da Young Lad (T6) looks well-drawn as the solo wide seed in the race and rates as the main danger.

1 pt 21:28 Romford – Ballinabola Ruth (T2) @ SP

The third and final selection from the London Road circuit Romford this evening is BALLINABOLA RUTH, who lines up from T2 in the A3 graded race at 21:28 over the four-bend 400-metre trip. Ruth has only had three runs since moving across the Irish Sea, and she bolted up last time out, clocking 24.14 following a smart 3.73 sectional. That sort of time would make the February 2024 daughter of Glengar Bale competitive in open class company, so she could prove to be well above this A3 grade.

Pin Position on her immediate inside in T1 is a moderate trapper, so that gives Ruth a chance to grab the rails. If that happens, and she leads round this should be all over bar the shouting. Romford debutant Itsur View (T3) is worth noting in the market. Silvertown Blues (T5) has some smart form at Oxford and ran well last time out in A2 grade, she would be a huge runner with a ping break.
