Horse Racing Tips: Tommie Beau set for more Cartmel glory

There are six meetings across Britain and Ireland on Bank Holiday Monday, with a mix of jumps and Flat action.
My horse racing tips for Monday are below, including Cartmel regular Tommie Beau bidding to get his season off to a flyer at the Cumbria venue.
Horse Racing Tips - Monday 25 May 2026
- 12:30 Huntingdon - Geordie Night @ 9/2
- 15:40 Leicester - Call Glory @ 5/1
- 15:58 Cartmel - Tommie Beau @ 2/1

12:30 Huntingdon - Geordie Night @ 9/2
The opener at Huntingdon is a Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle over three miles and one furlong and market principles Another Day Out and Juggernaut are likely to be to the fore.
The former is sure to try and make the running and the top-weight has also gone forward in the past.
Martin Keighley's mare Another Day Out fell when favourite here last time and could be worth taking on.
GEORDIE NIGHT was a good-ground winner at Uttoxeter last May over just shy of three-miles and is now rated 1lb lower.
His last couple of starts were on ground slower than optimal and he could be one to cause the top two in the betting some worries.

15:40 Leicester - Call Glory @ 5/1
An open sprint handicap at Leicester over six furlongs could go the way of bottom-weight CALL GLORY for trainer Ian Williams and Ryan Kavanagh.
The Soldier's Call gelding has to be forgiven a poor run on Lingfield's turf track six days ago but he had twice gone close here before that.
He was pipped on the line over C&D in April and then denied less than a length over an extra furlong this month.
He can get outpaced at times but tends to rally strongly and with his rider’s 5lb claim he's got a featherweight here.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
15:58 Cartmel - Tommie Beau @ 2/1
Cartmel is one of Britain's most treasured summer tracks and a real carnival venue. The Cumbrian circuit starts out for another season with their traditional late May Bank Holiday meeting.
Course form often counts for plenty at Cartmel and punters will be paying attention to TOMMIE BEAU in the Hugh Cavendish Veterans' Handicap Chase given his record at this quirky layout.
Seamus Mullins' 11-year-old has won three races at Cartmel, including two chases over three miles and one and a half furlongs. He's run here seven times and finished out of the first two only twice.
His most recent appearance was last June in a Class 2 handicap chase worth €22k when rated 140. He lost his way afterwards and his handicap mark plummeted but he scored over this sort of trip at Fakenham at the start of the month when taking the Norfolk National.
He's back up 5lb but still appeals off 127 and his record at Cartmel ensures he's got a strong claim in this veterans' marathon with his stamina proven.
