Livingston vs Kilmarnock Prediction: Killie to bury basement boys

Livingston are already preparing for life in the Scottish Championship, and their season comes to a close on Sunday as they host Kilmarnock (14:00 BST, Premier Sports 2).
They are guaranteed to finish bottom of the table, while Kilmarnock have eased away from relegation danger in recent weeks. Check out my Livingston vs Kilmarnock predictions down below.

Team News
Scott Arfield may be without attacking midfielder Scott Pittmann after he was injured in the recent draw with Dundee United. Barrie McKay looks the most likely candidate to replace him, with Robbie Muirhead set to lead the line again.
Matty Kennedy, Djenairo Daniels, Tyreece John-Jules and Jamie Brandon all remain sidelined for the visitors, while Joe Hugill should start in attack after his midweek brace.
Livingston vs Kilmarnock Predicted Lineups
- Livingston - Prior; Kerr, Kabongolo, Finlayson, Montano; Danso, Tait; Smith, McKay, May; Muirhead
- Kilmarnock - Stryjek; Schjonning-Larsen, Stanger, Deas, Thompson; Lowery, Tshibola, Curtis; Kiltie, Anderson; Hugill
Livingston are 7/4 to win this game, with Kilmarnock at 11/8 - so it’s a very even match-up according to the bookies. A draw is 13/5, over 2.5 goals is 8/11 and BTTS is 8/13.
Livingston vs Kilmarnock Stats
- Kilmarnock have won their last three games
- Killie have scored three goals in each of their last three
Kilmarnock to win @ 11/8
Very straightforward this one for me. Kilmarnock are bang in form having won their last three games in a row and they have emphatically silenced any worries of being dragged into the relegation play-off.
With the wind in their sails they now travel to the Premiership’s worst team looking to finish on a high. Livingston have nothing to play for, but have picked up five points from their last four games in a show of slight improvement since relegation.
I’m more than happy to back the in-form team to run away with the three points on Sunday however, as the Scottish season winds to a close.

Away team total goals - over 2.5 @ 7/2
Killie have found their goalscoring groove of late - and it’s only taken all season for them to be ruthless in front of goal. Since the split they have looked like a tremendous attacking force and although we can account for the poor opposition as one factor for that, it also means we should take advantage of goals if they are on offer.
Kilmarnock have scored three goals in each of their last three victories, and up against bottom of the league, I think 7/2 is a very generous price that they do it for a fourth consecutive time. Livingston have conceded a whopping 71 goals this term, and the visitors could run riot.
