Leigh Leopards vs Hull KR Prediction: Away side target eight wins in a row

Defending champions Hull KR head to Leigh on Saturday evening seeking an 8th straight victory, fresh from reaching the Betfred Challenge Cup Final. (Kick-off 5:30pm)
The Leopards have won three in a row since bowing out of the Cup and Rovers can expect a hostile welcome as they bid to maintain their drive up the table.

Team News
Leigh have benefited from an extra week off with the Robins involved in last weekend's Challenge Cup semis, and that has allowed enough time for Bailey Hodgson to return to the squad after injury.
Hodgson has been out with a knee injury and his return is a welcome boost, more so given the absence this week of Keenan Brand.
Rovers will be without in-form forward James Batchelor who helped himself to two tries in last weekend's victory over Warrington. His latest head knock means an enforced period of absence for the next 12 days. His place in the squad goes to youngster Jack Charles, with Rhyse Martin probably the best option to be promoted from the bench to take Batchelor's place.
French full-back Arthur Mourgue was last week named for the first time since the World Club Challenge at the start of the season, but as predicted did not feature against the Wolves. He will be pushing for his place back with every day that passes - Mourgue could be the man to take the vacant bench spot if Jack Broadbent keeps his place at full-back.
There was some concern over Dean Hadley last week but he came through the game unscathed after a bit of muscle tightness in the build up.
Handicap 3-Way Hull KR -8 @ 6/5
This should be a great game between two teams finding their form. Leigh are having their best mini spell of the season as they start to get bodies back on the field, while Rovers are just running hot with seven wins on the spin.
An extra week off will have helped the Leopards while the Robins were going at it with Warrington. So this might be closer than you would expect, but I still back KR given the run they are on - and just how good they have been looking.
Rovers have won seven on the spin, scoring 300 and conceding just 56 over that stretch. Leigh's three-match winning run has been by an aggregate score of 81-40, so for the number crunchers among us that gives an idea that Leigh are some way off the kind of dominance that Rovers are showing at the moment.
We went with a nice little double last week with a KR win against the handicap and a Joe Burgess try which landed at 29/20.
This week the handicap gives Leigh an eight-point start, and if Rovers play the way they have been doing they can overcome that, even given the Leopards' upturn in form.
Historically teams tend to struggle the week after big games like finals and semi-finals but I'm not factoring in too much of that narrative this week.
The two meetings last season were both won easily by the home side - Leigh winning this fixture 28-10. I feel Rovers will buck that recent trend on Saturday with an 8th win in a row.

Edwin Ipape & Joe Burgess Both To Score A Try @ 6/1
After the success of last week's Bet Builder double featuring Joe Burgess, I am looking at something similar. Burgess is third in the Super League scoring charts on 11.
The Rovers winger is the hot shout to score in the anytime market at 4/5, but diversifying that selection with another pick will always enhance the odds.
Looking at Leigh's strike threats, I feel that their powerhouse hooker Edwin Ipape is due a try and it is no coincidence that the Leopards' upturn in form has been since his return to full fitness.
Ipape is 11/4 to score this weekend, but if you like a bit more risk then how about both Ipape and Burgess to cross for tries? That pick is available with Betfred at 6/1.
