West Ham vs Arsenal Prediction: Saka to score anytime in high-scoring game

The Premier League clash that could dictate not only who wins this season's edition of the Premier League but who also joins Wolves and Burnley in next season's edition of the EFL Championship. West Ham play host to Arsenal on Sunday at the London Stadium - Spurs fans won't know where to look. 

For the Hammers, the task is as simple as trying to claw their way back out of the bottom three after sliding into the relegation zone last Sunday and because of a worse goal difference, only a win would achieve that. For Arsenal, all they need to do is match whatever Manchester City do between now and the end of the season and they will be crowned champions...

Team News 

Although West Ham started this weekend in the bottom three, they do at least have a clean bill of health for the visit of league leaders Arsenal and with manager Nuno Espirito Santo having a full deck of players to choose from, it will be personal preference that dictates his starting eleven on Sunday. 

Which should mean that Kyle Walker-Peters is given the nod at right back over Aaron Wan-Bissaka and if the team is set up in the recently favoured 4-4-1-1 shape, it will mean that Pablo Felipe will be tasked with offering support to forward Taty Castellanos. A decision that means Callum Wilson will have to make an impact from the bench. 

As for the visitors, it also seems as if Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is spoilt for choice in terms of available personnel and his biggest decision will be deciding who starts alongside Declan Rice in the centre of the Arsenal midfield. Martin Zubimendi or Miles Lewis-Skelly both vying for the berth.  

The latter has been given starters orders in each of Arsenal's last two outings and after impressing in the wins over both Fulham and Atlético Madrid, he has made a strong case for a third successive start in all competitions. The only other decision for manager Arteta is whether Martin Odegaard can win his place back in attacking midfield after being accustomed to life as a substitute lately.

Match Odds:

West Ham are priced at 4/1 to win this game, with Arsenal the favourites at 8/13. That gives the away team an implied win probability of 61.9% while a draw can be backed at 16/5. 

BTTS has been priced at 8/11 and over 2.5 goals is 4/6, while Viktor Gyokeres is the favourite to score first at 4/1.

Over 3.5 goals @ 7/4 

There is either not enough value to back Arsenal to win or there is a nagging feeling that they could collapse at this hurdle. Therefore, I am not going to back the outcome of the game but I am going to back goals and with both the Hammers and Gunners needing as many as possible, this feeds into my first tip. 

Although Manchester City's draw on Monday does not mean that goal difference is needed for a tiebreaker to decide the champions, the Gunners can further boost their chances by stocking up on as many goals as possible. While West Ham need to improve their goal difference or at least stop theirs from taking a further hit. With this mind, I reckon there will be at least four in total on Sunday. 

Bukayo Saka to score anytime @ 7/4 

Four or more goals will get the first tip over the line, just one from a particular player will tick off the second. There is no doubt that Bukayo Saka is having a late season flourish and this is backed up by the goals that he has recently scored against both Fulham and Atlético Madrid. 

Goals that have placed Arsenal in touching distance of a Premier League and Champions League double and I have a feeling that the 24-year-old will continue that scoring run for a third successive game in. The Gunners would just as easily take another 1-0 win; Saka could just as easily be the man to secure it.
