GT vs RCB Prediction: RCB to resist Titans’ revenge bid

Gujarat Titans face a crucial home clash against an in‑form Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Thursday night (15:00 BST, Sky Sports Cricket) as they attempt to stabilise an inconsistent IPL campaign. GT have lost two of their last three matches and were beaten by RCB only six days ago in a five‑wicket thriller at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Shubman Gill continues to lead the side, though his own scoring has dipped in recent matches. Jos Buttler is expected to retain the gloves, while Jason Holder and Rashid Khan provide all‑round balance and Prasidh Krishna and Kagiso Rabada will again spearhead the pace attack.

On a flat Ahmedabad surface - where stroke‑makers thrive - he should comfortably threaten the 33‑run mark again.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru to win and both teams to score 160+ runs @ 14/5

The Titans have been inconsistent throughout April, winning just one of their last three matches. Their defeat to RCB last week exposed familiar issues: a lack of control at the death and an over‑reliance on Sudharsan for runs.

RCB, by contrast, are in superb form. They have won five of their last six, including victories by six wickets, 43 runs, 18 runs, five wickets, five wickets and nine wickets. Their margins of victory underline their dominance.

Kohli continues to set the tone at the top, while Patidar's strikerate has transformed their middle overs.

With GT having lost two of their last four at home, another RCB win - and one featuring plenty of runs - looks likely.
