Leeds vs Burnley Bet Builder Tips: 8/1 shot for DCL double

Leeds United saw their relegation rivals gain ground over the FA Cup semi-final weekend, as Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur all won their fixtures.
Daniel Farke’s men do still boast a six-point gap over Spurs in 18th, but a win against already-relegated Burnely will take them very close to safety. Read on for my Leeds vs Burnley Bet Builder Tips.

Leeds to win with -1 handicap
Leeds have been good lately, and their points total of 40 would usually be enough to keep them up. Not this season however, with the other strugglers finding some form towards the back end of the campaign.
They should stay up this term, and the points they have amassed so far have put Daniel Farke’s men in a strong position, but it feels like it will be a high tide this term. A home win against a Burnley side that already knows its fate is essential then, and Leeds should have enough about them to take all three points.
Burnley have lost four in a row, while Leeds are unbeaten in their last five league games. They should be strong enough to win this game with a -1 handicap to boot, which will get our Bet Builder up and running nicely.
Leeds vs Burnley Stats
- Burnley have lost four in a row
- Leeds are unbeaten in five PL games
- There have been under 4.5 goals scored in all six of Leeds United's last six matches
Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score 2+ goals
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has played the full 90 minutes for Leeds in their last seven Premier League matches and the FA Cup semi-final, and I feel that opens up an opportunity for the English striker to get back amongst the goals against Burnley.
DCL has scored 11 Premier League goals this season, but the majority of those came prior to Christmas. He’s on a run of just one in eight, and although some punters may shy away from backing him, I still think he is Leeds’ primary threat.
Burnley have conceded 68 goals in 34 matches, two per game, which is by far the worst record in the division. Even basement boys Wolves have only conceded 62 by comparison, so Leeds should be able to take them apart. I also don’t fancy Burnley’s centre-backs up against DCL, so will back him to get back to scoring ways with a brace.
Under 4.5 goals
Although I think Leeds will win this game comfortably, I don’t think it will be a particularly open encounter. Burnley are likely to sit in until they concede, so to boost our odds slightly I’ve just added under 4.5 goals to the Bet Builder.
There have been under 4.5 goals scored in all six of Leeds United's last six matches and three of Burnley’s last four.
