There was a small improvement in last week's BTTS column but it still wasn't good enough. Two selections from five landed, so I'm hoping for greater success this time around.

Saturday has a packed roster but all my focus for this week's accumulator is on the Championship. All five of my picks are from the second tier and you can check out my latest Saturday BTTS Tips below.

Saturday BTTS Tips - April 11

Football Odds

Yes - Norwich vs Ipswich

The East Anglian derby is the standout fixture from the Championship on Saturday and there's not just bragging rights on offer. After an awful start to the campaign, Norwich City have got themselves in a position for a late play-off push thanks to Philippe Clement.

The Canaries are eight points behind Southampton in sixth with five games to go. The deficit might be too much at this stage but Norwich are a team who are full of confidence right now.

Rivals Ipswich Town are looking to tighten their grip on the second automatic promotion spot. They are on 72 points, as are Middlesbrough and Millwall, but Ipswich have two games in hand on them both.

I fancy goals in this clash and both teams have scored in each of Norwich's past two league outings heading into the weekend. This has also been a successful bet in four of Ipswich's past five fixtures in the second tier.

Yes - Southampton vs Derby

Southampton look like they are going to a difficult force to stop should they qualify for the play-offs. The Saints are on a four-game winning streak in the Championship and next up for them is fellow play-off hopefuls Derby County at St. Mary's. The Rams are three points behind the Saints so this is a massive six-pointer.

Six of the hosts' previous nine outings in the league have produced goals at both ends, while there have been goals at both ends in two of Derby's past three away trips in the second tier.

Yes - Oxford vs Watford

Oxford United are fighting for their lives in the Championship. The U's are one point adrift of safety with five games left to play. They welcome Watford to the Kassam Stadium.

Three of the hosts' past four league matches have seen both teams get on the scoresheet, including their two most recent home outings.

BTTS - Yes has also been a winning selection in six of Watford's previous seven fixtures in this competition.

Yes - Sheff U vs Hull

Hull City have a four-point cushion inside the play-off places, but they will look to strengthen that when they travel to Sheffield United. The Blades are in the bottom half of the table and they don't come into this clash in good form.

I think this Yorkshire derby can produce goals. This bet has landed in four of Hull's last six games in the Championship, while it has been a winning selection in five of Sheffield United's past six matches in the league.

No - Coventry vs Sheff W

Coventry City are on the cusp of sealing a long-awaited return to the Premier League. The Sky Blues host already-relegated Sheffield Wednesday at the CBS Arena on Saturday.

I like the look of BTTS - No for this contest because it has struck in four of Coventry's last six outings in the Championship. This was also a successful bet when the sides met earlier in the season, with Cov running out as 5-0 winners.

This selection has landed in two of Wednesday's previous fixtures in the second tier.
