Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin: Kane can bring the pain

Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich look to solidify their top dog status as they take on Union Berlin (14:30 GMT). The reigning champions are nine-points clear at press time atop the table. A win here will keep their only feasible challengers, Borussia Dortmund, off their backs.

Team News
For all the hyperbole and excitement, Jonas Urbig was fit for the second leg win over Atalanta. That meant no start for 16-year-old goalkeeper Leonard Prescott with Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich also out injured. Expect Urbig to occupy the gloves here.
Bayern also have defenders Alphonso Davies (hamstring) and Jonathan Tah (suspended) sidelined. Attacking players Luis Diaz and striker Nicolas Jackson were both sent off against Leverkusen and serve suspensions here.
Union are without goalkeeper Matheo Raab due to a broken hand. The visitors also have Andras Schafer suspended and Robert Skov missing with a calf injury.
Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin Predicted Lineups

- Union Berlin: Ronnow; Doekhi, Querfeld, Nsoki; Trimmel, Haberer, Khedira, Kemlein, Kohn; Ilic, Ansah
Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin Odds

Bayern Munich vs Union Berlin Stats
- Union Berlin are one of only five teams to take points off Bayern this season. The reverse fixture was a 2-2 draw in November
- Harry Kane is on course to become the first player in history to win the Golden Boot in each of their first three Bundesliga seasons
Price Boost: Harry Kane to score first was 2/1 now 5/2
A Price Boost when it comes to Harry Kane is a beautiful sight. The England captain is enjoying a banner Bayern season. The ex-Spur has bagged 30 in 25 Bundesliga games. 47 goals in 39 matches across all competitions. The very idea some thought Kane wouldn’t adapt outside England seems laughable now.
I’m tipping Kane to get his side off to a hot start by opening the scoring and strengthening his grip on the Golden Boot.

Bayern over 2.5 goals @ 4/6
Not rocket science this one. Bayern have scored 93 goals in the Bundesliga this season. That’s an average of 3.57 per game. It is a simply staggering return. One that humbles nearest-rivals Dortmund, who are on 55 strikes themselves. Of course, points are what matter and the gap isn’t as big on that score. But I reckon Bayern bang in at least two goals in this match.
