Nap of the Day: Skeltons set for more Saturday success

It was a smashing Cheltenham Festival for Nap of the Day backers, courtesy of three winners - Old Park Star (9/4) in the Supreme on Tuesday, Supremely West (7/2) in the Pertemps Final on Thursday and Gaelic Warrior (7/2) in the Gold Cup on Friday.
Let's keep it going, shall we? I really, really like the look of one for the Skeltons on Midlands National day at Uttoxeter on Saturday.

There's a few runners at Uttoxeter on Saturday who missed engagements at the Cheltenham Festival - including A PAI DE NOM for the Skeltons.
The six-year-old son of Passing Glance was right near the top of the market for the Martin Pipe on Friday, but unfortunately for connections he was balloted out at the declaration stage.
Cheltenham's loss is Uttoxeter's gain, however, as he turns up in the Midlands just 24 hours later for a 0-150 handicap over just shy of three miles that's worth the exact same amount as the Festival's finale.
Dan sounded very bullish about his gelding's chances in the Martin Pipe before he was denied a run, and it's not hard to see why.
He won three of his first four starts over hurdles, earning a mark of just 124, before finishing third in the Lanzarote Hurdle off that very mark at Kempton at the start of the year. The ground will have been plenty lively enough for him that day, so it was a fine effort as far as I'm concerned.
Last time out it was a trip to Newbury, up to three miles for the first time on heavy ground, and he bolted up by five lengths. The result? A rise of just five pounds. Very generous, Mr. Handicapper. Very generous indeed...
To put it bluntly - if he had a good chance in the Martin Pipe, which I believe he did, then he's got an extraordinary chance in this. I'm very strong on his chances.
