Friday Greyhound Tips: Can Friday bring further joy?

1 pt 15:22 Suffolk Downs – Westfield Luxury (T2) @ SP

All eyes on Suffolk Downs this afternoon for an ultra-competitive all-graded card with races over two and four-bend distances. At 15:22 in the A7 graded race over the 388-metre trip WESTFIELD LUXURY appeals from T2. In recent weeks, the May 2023 daughter of Ballymac Bolger has run in a sprint race and a six-bend open race.

Today, back in calmer waters of an A7 graded race, Westfield Luxury looks well-drawn to lead round and make all. The last time Westfield had the luxury of leading round she went onto clock 24.65 following a smart 4.76 sectional. A repeat of that run would make her hard to beat this afternoon. Tableseventyone (T6) could be the one to challenge the selection early on and rates as the main danger. Ex Yarmouth runner Yoguartpotjohn (T3) will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 15:59 Suffolk Downs – Westfield Tigris (T1) @ SP

The A8 graded race at 15:59 over the four-bend 388-metre trip can go to well-drawn railer WESTFIELD TIGRIS from T1. Back in early January, Tigris was running well in A6 company. This represents an ease in grade and one the September 2022 daughter of Grangeview Ten can take advantage of. The key is the break and run into the first bend, hold the rails and its race on.

Granted a clear run, Tigris is a 24.75 type of performer, and that puts her two or three lengths ahead of her opposition. Magical Sophia (T4) is often there or thereabouts at the finish and rates as the main danger. Savana Polly looks well-drawn out in T6 and has a chance with a ping break.

1 pt 17:46 Suffolk Downs – Bodell Bucks (T4) @ SP

The third and final selection at Suffolk Downs is BODELL BUCKS, who lines up from T4 in the A2 graded race at 17:46. The Michelle Brown-trained May 2022 son of Burgess Bucks has kept good company of late with four runs on the bounce in open class company. Today, on his return to graded action, Bodell Bucks looks well-drawn to turn with the pace and, if that happens, his natural middle gears can see him hit the front and power clear.

Kilbride Tractor (T5) is better known as a six-bend performer but is more than capable of getting involved here. He will be staying on well and could be worth including in forecast bets. Stonepark James (T1) is going for three on the bounce this afternoon following success in A3 company recently. He has a chance if he leads round and skips a couple clear.
