Lingfield gets us underway with a jumps fixture in the afternoon, which is swiftly followed by Kempton, with Wolverhampton providing the evening entertainment. Our expert has selected four horses with big chances and they can be combined to form our Lucky 15 tips.

13:08 Kempton – Apache Green @ 7/2

Sean Woods’ APACHE GREEN could be set for a return to winning ways in the opener at Kempton.

The four-year-old has been a little inconsistent in handicap company but he’s sliding quickly down the weights and subsequently looks very interesting here.

Starting his career with William Haggas, he got off the mark in a 6f novice at Pontefract on just his second start and the fourth boosted the form by winning next time.

He produced a good performance to finish third in a Class 4 off a 13lb higher mark for this yard at Leicester in July and should be very competitive on that evidence.

Second at Wolverhampton last time out, there’s every chance he can go one better here.

14:08 Kempton – Misty Cove @ 2/1

Top Irish jumps trainer Gavin Cromwell has trained 12 all-weather winners in Britain, with the majority of them coming at Wolverhampton.

He has only had one previous runner at Kempton, however, and MISTY COVE is set to become his second.

She made her debut at Dundalk last month and ran a respectable race to finish fourth.

Improving as the race went on, she’ll have learnt plenty from that experience and a better run is anticipated with that in mind.

Of all the previously raced fillies in the field, her form is the best on offer and it’s a long way to come just for a day out.

There are a couple of interesting newcomers in opposition but Cromwell’s filly can put her previous experience to good use, with Saffie Osborne on board.

15:08 Kempton – Space Bear @ 5/1

This competitive-looking 6f handicap is one of the most intriguing races on the card and it could go the way of Marco Botti’s SPACE BEAR, who remains lightly raced in handicaps and has the scope to progress in this sphere.

Luke Morris rides this filly and there have been clear signs of progress in her last couple of handicap starts. Second off this mark at Southwell earlier this month, a similar effort would surely put her in the mix but it would be unwise to rule out further progress.

She was a comfortable winner of a Wolverhampton maiden on debut back in July and it’s likely that the best is yet to come.

15:38 Kempton – Your Love @ 11/4

Richard Spencer runs two in this race and it’s the less exposed YOUR LOVE who makes the most appeal.

She looked smart when winning a Southwell novice in good style a few starts ago and her most recent effort in handicaps was promising.

Prominent throughout when getting off the mark in November, she took up the running with a couple of furlongs to go and kept on well to score by two-and-a-quarter-lengths.

Her next effort was therefore disappointing but she got back on track when second at Southwell last month.

The daughter of Rajasinghe had no chance with the winner that day but reappears off just a 1lb higher mark here and there should be more to come.

If all four selections won at the quoted prices, a 50p win Lucky 15 would return around £365.25 for a £7.50 total stake.
