ITV Racing Tips: Seven selections to follow on Saturday

Grade 1 action is back on Saturday afternoon with the Clarence House Chase taking centre stage at Ascot. There's also a seven-race card at Haydock which features Grade 2 action and the Peter Marsh Handicap Chase.

We have selections and analysis for the seven races on ITV this Saturday, including a couple of value picks at rewarding odds. Take a look at my ITV Racing Tips below.

13:25 Haydock - Hurricane Pat @ 7/4

HURRICANE PAT has won four of his last five starts and he created a nice impression when winning a Listed race at Sandown last time out. He won with any amount in hand, is versatile with regards to both ground and tactics and there are no signs that his progression is slowing down.

13:40 Ascot - Nurse Susan @ 3/1

Next, we head to Ascot, where Betfred is the Official Bookmaker.

NURSE SUSAN could be a tough nut to crack in the first of the Graded races on Ascot's card. She's looked progressive so far this season and arrives bidding for a hat-trick after a Listed success at Sandown last time out. Having proven herself on slower ground earlier in her career, she looks like the one to beat.

14:00 Haydock - Myretown @ 9/4

This can go the way of MYRETOWN, last season's impressive Ultima winner. He was on an upward trajectory throughout the previous campaign and was in the process of running a big race before coming down at Newbury last time out. This is effectively a drop in class and he can gain compensation for that spill here before going on to graded company.

14:20 Ascot - Vincenzo @ 13/8

VINCENZO keeps finding one too good in these competitive handicaps but there's a suspicion he has a big one in him and looks worth siding with here.

Sam Thomas' charge couldn't reel in an all-the-way winner at Cheltenham last time but had the rest beaten handy enough and he's probably still ahead of his handicap mark.

14:35 Haydock - Icare Allen @ 17/2

This looks like a good chance for ICARE ALLEN to get back on track now returned to quicker ground. He left the impression he would relish a step back up in trip last time out and he remains on a good handicap mark.

14:53 Ascot - Came From Nowhere @ 5/2

There's plenty to like about the form of CAME FROM NOWHERE, who is improving with every start and the son of Shirocco made easy work of a decent field at Hereford last time out.

The Scott yard excels with their hurdlers and this lightly-raced sort can continue to progress with ground conditions coming in his favour.

15:30 Ascot - Jonbon @ 9/2

This can go the way of last year's winner JONBON, who hasn't been at his best this season but is still capable of a smart level of form. His main rival, Il Etait Temps, seems at his most impressive on more galloping tracks and Jonbon's experience at this venue could be a key factor.
