We’ve got some decent midweek action coming our way on Tuesday night as Newcastle host Man City in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final, while we also have Copa del Rey and Bundesliga games to take in.
It’s given us a good amount to go at for Tuesday’s Football Accumulator Tips, which you can find below.

Manchester City (A) to beat Newcastle United @ 23/20
Manchester City smashed 10 past Exeter City in the FA Cup at the weekend, and I think they can go to Newcastle and win in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi. City had drawn three games in a row before their 10-goal haul against Exeter, leaving them six points behind Arsenal in the Premier League table, but I just fancy them in this semi.
Newcastle have conceded six goals in their last two home games, three against Leeds and three against Bournemouth in the FA Cup. If that ropey defensive form continues, City will take full advantage.
Stockport County (H) to beat Harrogate Town @ 1/3
Looking at the EFL Trophy now and Stockport County, fourth in League 1, host the EFL’s second-bottom club Harrogate Town. Even with changes expected, Stockport’s second XI should be able to wipe the floor with this appalling Harrogate outfit.
The visitors sit 23rd, having picked up a paltry 18 points from 25 League 2 outings. Since beating Blackpool in the last 16 of this competition, they are winless in seven and don’t look as though they can manage a shock in this one.
Huddersfield Town (H) to beat Rotherham United @ 8/15
Huddersfield sit just one place below Stockport in League 1, and they host a Rotherham outfit that sit 22nd in the same division and are in a stinking run of form. Since beating Salford 7-2 in this competition, the Millers have lost seven straight games on the bounce. That’s a dreadful run and we have to back them to lose again as they travel to Yorkshire.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Roma (H) to beat Torino @ 4/7
Over to Italy now, and we’ve got a Coppa Italia clash between Roma and Torino on Tuesday night. Roma are yet to draw a game in Serie A this term, and they sit fourth having won 13 and drawn seven under Gian Piero Gasperini.
They have won three of their last four, and got maximum points in their last three home outings, so I will back them to beat Torino, who have lost three of their last four outings.
Athletic Bilbao (A) to beat Cultural Leonesa @ 8/13
We finish with the Copa del Rey, where Athletic Bilbao travel to face second-tier outfit Cultural Leonesa. The hosts sit 15th, having picked up just 25 points from 21 games, while Bilbao sit eighth in La Liga. Their quality should pay off despite a run of three games without a win.
