Lucky 15 Tips: Kempton’s nine-race card looks ace on Wednesday

We're back on L15 duties after a cracking three-from-four at Sedgefield on Friday - and a glance at Kempton's very first race on Wednesday ends any debate about where we should travel for our midweek Lucky 15 tips.
How about James Doyle, Oisin Murphy and Rossa Ryan, lining up in the 16:25 ? Dig a little deeper and we find Billy Loughnane, Hector Crouch, Saffie Osborne and a host of stellar talents - it's a nine-race card, and looks sure to be an absolute belter on the Polytrack.
Lucky 15 tips - Wednesday, December 10
- 16:25 - Asmeralda @ 6/4
- 19:00 - Comedian Leader @ 6/1
- 19:30 - Dance Time @ 2/1
- 20:00 - My Boy Harry @ 4/1
*Odds correct as of the time of publication
16:25 - Asmeralda @ 6/4
We begin with a 7f novice stakes contest, for two-year-olds.
Our selection is one of several yet to face the starter, but one we can be pretty sure has been extremely well schooled ahead of this debut spin.
Asmeralda is a Night Of Thunder filly who reportedly cost over half a million euros as a yearling; and could hardly be housed to better advantage residing as she does at Clarehaven, with John and Thady Gosden.
Lovely additional pointer - the champ Oisin Murphy has been booked to ride and the four box looks ideal, too. Should be a very informative heat, with some good yards involved.
19:00 - Comedian Leader @ 6/1
Vastly more experienced types go 6f in a Class 5 sprint handicap.
We're siding with a five-year-old mare trained by Jim and Suzi Best in East Sussex, and who's on a hat-trick after two successive, authoritative wins when last seen in August.
An absence then of 123 days to overcome, and a mark today of 67 - but Comedian Leader has been rated as high as 77 in the past and has an eight-from-53 record all told.
Luke Morris knows her well, rode a nice winner at Wolves the other day (Profit Street), and has the riding assignment this evening.
19:30 - Dance Time @ 2/1
Never any hardship to side with a Rossa Ryan-ridden conveyance, as regular readers will know, and he's aboard Dance Time here for David Loughnane, another who scored at Wolves the other day (with Snaafy).
The five-year-old Time Test mare is a highly respectable six-from-24 in her career, and is another presently on a hat-trick after recent wins off 68, and 69.
Her mark for this two-miler is now 76, and she has won at the trip (Southwell, 12 months ago). Has a career-high mark to overcome then but Rossa was up top last time for a very cosy 5l triumph and retains the partnership today.
20:00 - My Boy Harry @ 4/1
Our last leg is a Class 6, 7f handicap for three-year-olds and upwards.
My Boy Harry comes here in very decent order, with recent form figures of 33162. That second was achieved 36 days ago at Lingfield over a mile, under man-of-the-moment Billy Loughnane (200th winner for 2025 notched up this week).
The three-year-old Massaat gelding, another trained by Jim and Suzi Best, has scored at this venue previously over a mile but seems pretty versatile trip-wise.
That course success was achieved in mid-October off a mark of 49, and he needs to overcome a career-high 55 this evening. He is however in undoubtedly rude condition, and the excellent Sean Levey takes the mount - for the first time.
If all four of our selections won, today's notional 50p win Lucky 15, at the prices indicated (they can of course fluctuate), would return around £307 for a £7.50 total stake.
