Tenerife vs Granada Prediction: Entertaining cup clash on the cards

Tenerife and Granada were Segunda Division opponents last season and now face off in an intriguing Copa Del Rey clash.
Neither of these teams have ever won the Copa del Rey but Granada were runners-up back in 1959 and reached the semi-finals in 2020 so have the better pedigree in the competition. Here we pick out the best bets for this cup tie.
Team News
Tenerife are set to be without Marc Matheu, Javi Perez and Dani Fernandez through injury while striker Mohamed Bouldini is expected to be absent for Granada.

Tenerife have been installed as 6/5 favourites for the victory, while Granada are on offer at 15/8 and the draw is available at 2/1.
Over 2.5 goals is 6/5, while Granada are 4/7 with a goal head start on the handicap and Tenerife are 4/1 to overcome such a deficit.
Tenerife vs Granada Stats

- Granada are unbeaten in their last four matches
Over 2.5 goals @ 6/5
Tenerife were relegated from the second tier of Spanish football last season but have made a solid start to life in the Primera Federacion, winning 10 of their first 14 games to top Group A.
Granada, in contrast, have won the fewest games of any team in the Segunda this season, with four, and are just four points off bottom spot in an extremely congested division.
The visitors have drawn seven of their 14 league matches so are clearly struggling to get over the line in games after a solid season last term which saw them finish seventh.
They have improved lately, however, losing just one of their last 10 games, a 2-1 defeat to Real Valladolid when they were reduced to 10 men.
Both teams have been involved in some high-scoring affairs recently, with Tenerife’s last three games producing 10 goals. Granada are no slouches on that front either, with four of their last six matches going over 2.5 goals.
The two league meetings between these two teams last season saw seven goals scored and over 2.5 goals is fancied in this cup tie.

Draw @ 2/1
Granada may have struggled to win many games this season but they have proven difficult to beat and they should be up for the fight against opponents from the division below.
The hosts' good form this season means they should be full of confidence but this is a tough test and it looks on paper like being a competitive affair.
It may take more than 90 minutes to split these two teams and the draw is a tempting bet.
