Fenerbahce vs Galatasaray Prediction: Yellow Canaries to scale the summit
The top two in the Turkish Super Lig go head-to-head on Monday evening as Fenerbahce welcome Galatasaray for the Istanbul derby at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium (17:45 kick-off). The home side are clinging to the last remaining unbeaten record in the top flight, but they trail the champions by a point after 13 games.
Galatasaray have, though, suffered defeat in two of their last three games in all competitions and Okan Buruk's side have lost their way somewhat. Fenerbahce have won just one of the last nine home derbies, but they have a great chance to improve on that record and take over atop the standings.
Below are my Fenerbahce vs Galatasaray predictions, alongside the latest team news and Betfred's match odds.

The hosts appear likely to be close to full strength, with Caglar Soyuncu (knee) the only confirmed absence for boss Domenico Tedesco to contend with.
Defender Yigit Efe Demir went off injured in the Europa League draw with Ferencvaros but is expected to be fit, while Nelson Semedo is back in contention after a suspension.

Fenerbahce vs Galatasaray Stats
- Both teams have scored in four of Fenerbahce's last five games
- Youssef En-Nesyri has found the net seven times in the Super Lig
Fenerbahce to win & both teams to score @ 13/5
After finishing second to Galatasaray in the last three seasons, Fenerbahce will be desperate to grab this opportunity to go top of the table.
They are facing the champions at a great time, as Cimbom have lost their form recently while the injuries in their squad have piled up.
The Yellow Canaries, meanwhile, have scored 14 goals in six home league games and are the top-scoring side in the league. Fenerbahce have won just one of the last nine home derbies but this appears great timing for them to grab three points.
It's likely they'll need multiple goals to win as both teams have scored in four of Fenerbahce's last five games, while over 3.5 goals has landed in their last four domestic matches.
Galatasaray have scored in three of their last four visits to the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium and can contribute here, although it may come in a losing effort.

Talisca anytime goalscorer @ 6/4
Youssef En-Nesyri has found the net seven times in the Super Lig for Fenerbahce this season but Brazilian playmaker Talisca could have a major role to play in the derby.
The 31-year-old has fired 20 shots in five games recently, with 10 on target, and he has now netted five goals and had one assist in eight appearances since mid-October.
He came off the bench to score against Rizespor in the league and then bagged the midweek Europa League leveller against Ferencvaros. He can enjoy derby-day delight by finding the net for the third game running.
