Team News
Aston Villa have three injury concerns heading into this clash. Tyrone Mings pulled his hamstring at Anfield last week and is set for another spell on the sidelines. Emiliano Buendia and Andres Garcia are also expected to miss out due to unspecified issues.
After scoring against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Uefa Europa League in midweek, Donyell Malen may be considered to start in attack on Sunday, likely in the place of Evann Guessand.
For Bournemouth, boss Andoni Iraola now seems to have the majority of his squad available, which should give them a boost heading to the West Midlands. Tyler Adams is the only one who will need to be assessed with a knock.
Iraola will also have a decision to make up front now that Evanilson is back in contention. But Eli Junior Kroupi has been filling in excellently during the Brazilian's absence.

Aston Villa vs Bournemouth Odds
Vill have won four of their previous five top-flight games and they are 6/5 (implied probability of 45.5%) to come away with the victory here.
Bournemouth have drawn two of their five away trips in the Premier League so far this season and the stalemate is available at 5/2.
The Cherries are 23/10 to collect the three points but four of their five wins to date have come on home soil.
Four of Bournemouth's five away matches have produced at least four goals, with over 3.5 goals valued at 21/10.
Aston Villa vs Bournemouth Stats
- Villa have won four of their last five PL matches
- Bournemouth have won just one of their five away trips in the league
- BTTS has struck in four of the Cherries' five away fixtures
Match Result - Aston Villa @ 6/5
The winning run coming to an end last week was disappointing but Villa have been making huge progress after a a surprising slow start to the season. Unai Emery's side are 11th in the table and they can equal Bournemouth's points tally of 18 with a win on Sunday.
They added another Europa League victory at home on Thursday which sets them up nicely for this domestic encounter in B6. Under Emery, Villa Park has been a tough place to go for visiting teams and only Crystal Palace have won here in the league in 2025/26.
It's hard to see Bournemouth matching the Eagles' feat given they have managed just one win in five on the road, while Villa have won three from five at home. I think the value here lies in backing the Villans to get back to winning ways.

Both Teams To Score - Yes @ 4/6
Bournemouth can certainly play their part, though. After all, they are one of the highest-scoring sides in the division with 17 goals so far. And BTTS - Yes has been a running theme for the Cherries on their travels this term.
Four of their five away trips have seen both teams get on the scoresheet, including each of their previous three. This market has been tougher to land at Villa Park, with just two of the five league games here producing goals at both ends, but Villa are facing a Bournemouth side who have players across the pitch who can share the goal burden.
