Arsenal Odds Slashed For Champions League and Premier League Double

Arsenal are flying right now under Mikel Arteta. Another win to nil in the Champions League has taken them to four wins from four in Europe and they currently sit six points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

But what are the odds on them to win some of the big trophies this season? Well, as you’d expect, they are now favourites in a couple of the big ones. 

The interesting point here is the fact that Arsenal, after their 3-0 win over Slavia Prague on Wednesday, are now the favourites to win the Uefa Champions League. It’s the biggest trophy in club football and the one that has constantly eluded the Gunners - as even the Invincibles were unable to get over the line and win the European Cup.

Arsenal are now 9/2 to win the Champions League, ahead of Bayern Munich who are 5/1 and Liverpool and PSG at 6/1. However, things really get interesting when we start looking at Arsenal to win multiple trophies this season, although before we do that - they are now 10/3 to go trophyless, which suggests that Arteta will end this trophy drought in 2025/26. 

So, can Arsenal fans start to get greedy? Their squad is looking so balanced right now with so much strength in depth especially in defence. They’ve won their last eight matches to nil in all competitions with David Raya a clean sheet specialist at this moment in time. That’s how you win trophies, but it is still very early in the season and the Christmas lights haven’t yet been turned on (depending on where you live - stop being so weird Blackpool).

So, can they go even better than ending their 22-year wait for a Premier League title? That would mark the best season in the club’s history - without a shadow of doubt.

That seems far-fetched right now and they can’t spin all the plates at once, but this squad has plenty of depth and Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard have barely featured this season. If Arteta gets things right this term his side could run away with the league and have plenty to play for in the second half of the season, but there is a long way to go.
