Olympiakos vs PSV Prediction: Saibari to score again

Tuesday 4th November 2025, 7:15am

After three games in this season's league phase, Olympiakos remain without a Uefa Champions League win to their name, drawing once and losing twice, although their defeats did come away to the competition’s two losing semi-finalists in 2024/25, Arsenal (2-0) and FC Barcelona (6-1).

On Tuesday (20:00 GMT, TNT Sports 6), the Greek giants host PSV Eindhoven, who took just a single point from their first two contests but moved up to four with a 6-2 hammering of Napoli last time out. Below are my Olympiakos vs PSV predictions ahead of this midweek meeting at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus.

Olympiakos vs PSV Betting Tips

  • Anytime Goalscorer - Ismael Saibari (PSV) @ 23/10
  • Bet Builder - Daniel Podence (OLY) 1+ Shots on Target, Dennis Man (PSV) 1+ Shots on Target @ 3/1

Team News

Argentine defender Francisco Ortega (unspecified) is doubtful after missing Olympiakos’ last three matches, while his compatriot Santiago Hezze is suspended after receiving a red card for two bookable offences in his side’s defeat to Barcelona last month.

Football Odds

Ruben van Bommel and Alassane Plea (both knee) are on the PSV treatment table, with the latter not even named in the Dutch side’s European list.

Olympiakos vs PSV Predicted Lineups

  • Olympiakos: Tzolakis; Costinha, Pirola, Retsos, Onyemaechi; Garcia, Scipioni; Cabella, Podence; Taremi, El Kaabi
  • PSV: Kovar; Flamingo, Schoutine, Gasiorowski, Salah-Edine; Saibari, Junior, Veerman; Man, Til, Perisic

Olympiakos vs PSV Odds

Olympiakos have won their last three games in Greece, beating AEK Athens (2-0) and Aris (2-1) at home in the league, either side of a 5-0 victory over Volos in the cup. Still, despite home advantage, Jose Luis Mendilibar’s men are considered underdogs on Tuesday, with odds of 8/5 implying a 38.5% probability of success, while PSV, who have won their last five matches in all competitions, are 7/4 (36.4%) to pick up all three points in Piraeus.

The draw is priced at 5/2, both teams to score at 4/7, and over 2.5 total goals at 4/6.

Olympiakos vs PSV Stats

  • Saibari (PSV) has 10 goals in his last eight club apps
  • Podence (OLY) has registered a shot on target in his last two CL games (v Arsenal & Barcelona)
  • Man (PSV) has recorded five shots on target across his last five matches (three goals)

Anytime Goalscorer - Ismael Saibari (PSV) @ 23/10

On current form, I simply have to keep backing Ismael Saibari at these odds.

The 24-year-old landed us a 7/2 winner in last month’s Bayer Leverkusen-PSV preview, netting his side’s equaliser in the 72nd minute at the BayArena.

Saibari was also on the scoresheet in the big win over Napoli, and that goal was his fifth in his last six appearances for PSV.

Today's Football Fixtures

The Morocco international then started his side’s final two games of the month, netting a hat-trick in a 3-2 win at Feyenoord on October 26 before bagging a brace in a 5-2 victory over Fortuna Sittard.

Saibarai now has 10 goals in his last eight club appearances, and three in as many Champions League outings this term.

He scored 15 goals in 44 appearances for PSV last season, including three in the Champions League.

The Spanish-born, Belgian-raised midfielder is a fantastic price to score again, in my opinion.

Bet Builder - Daniel Podence (OLY) 1+ Shots on Target, Dennis Man (PSV) 1+ Shots on Target @ 3/1

Olympiakos winger Daniel Podence has made a solid start to the Greek Super League season, scoring twice and registering three assists in seven appearances.

The 30-year-old is yet to get off the mark in the Champions League this term, but he’s not been shy in trying his luck, shooting five times across three games against Pafos (two), Arsenal (two) and Barcelona (one).

Podence failed to hit the target against the Cypriots, but against the English and Spanish giants, he tested the goalkeeper.

The Portuguese player looks a decent bet to record at least one shot on target this week, as does PSV forward Dennis Man, who has scored three goals across his last three appearances.

The 27-year-old scored twice in his side’s success against Napoli on October 21, and after blanking against Feyenoord, he was back on the scoresheet against Sittard, netting in first-half injury time after seeing an earlier effort saved.

Man has now registered five shots on target across his last three games, and I’m confident the Romanian can at least force Konstantinos Tzolakis into a save on Tuesday.
