Team News
Wolves will be hoping to have Jean-Ricner Bellegarde available after he missed the defeat at Sunderland through illness. Leon Chiwome remains out of action because of a knee injury, while Hwang Hee-chan will need to be assessed ahead of the weekend.
Vitor Pereira is likely to stick with the same XI that started last weekend.
Burnley's Jordan Beyer (hamstring) and Connor Roberts (knee) remain out of action, having both suffered setbacks in their respective recoveries from injury, while Zeki Amdouni is sidelined with a long-term knee issue.
Lesley Ugochukwu opened the scoring against Leeds last time out as he played further forward as a number 10. Boss Scott Parker may consider keeping him in that role for the trip to the West Midlands.
Loum Tchaouna came off the bench to wrap up the three points and the forward will be knocking on Parker's door hoping to start at Molineux ahead of Zian Flemming.
Although, if Lyle Foster has overcome the dead leg he suffered for South Africa, he could be in contention to return to the lineup on Sunday.
Wolves vs Burnley Predicted Lineups
- Wolves: Johnstone; Doherty, S.Bueno, Krejci, H.Bueno; Munetsi, Andre, Joao Gomes; Arias, Larsen, Gomes
- Burnley: Dubravka; Walker, Tuanzebe, Esteve, Hartman; Ugochukwu, Florentino; Bruun Larsen, Cullen, Anthony; Foster
Wolves are yet to win in the league but they are up against a side who haven't managed a point on the road. The Old Gold are 1/1 to come out on top here.
The draw, which both teams have experienced three times between them, is priced at 23/10 (implied probability of 30.3%).
Burnley are 16/5 to collect the three points, which they managed last weekend against Leeds.
There have been goals at both ends in four of Wolves' past six league matches and BTTS Yes is valued at 1/1.
Wolves vs Burnley Stats
- Burnley have won two games this season and Wolves have failed to win any
- Over 2.5 goals has landed in all four of Burnley's away trips
Draw No Bet - Burnley @ 7/4
This is a huge game for both teams. For Wolves, they can take a huge weight off their shoulders by winning their first game of the season. For Burnley, it gives them a chance to get a result on the road, which they have so far failed in.
It was predicted to be a tough campaign for both clubs but Burnley are the ones who look in a better position right now. They have won twice, including their last match against Leeds, so they should head into this contest feeling confident.
Wolves have been competitive at times this season so they will likely make Burnley work for a result here. Supporters of the home side have been calling for boss Pereira to be less negative when it comes to making changes in the game, so it will be interesting to see what he does on Sunday.
The Clarets will view this as a free hit but they will still have to be at their best if they are to give themselves a cushion away from the bottom three. I think Burnley in the draw no bet market seems the most appropriate here, as I called against Leeds last week.

Over 2.5 goals @ 5/4
I must admit I am surprised at the generous price for this selection because over 2.5 goals has struck in all four of Burnley's away games in the Premier League this season.
It has also been a successful bet in three of Wolves' appearances at Molineux in the top flight. There are of course improvements to be made in both teams regarding their attacking output, with 14 goals scored between them after eight fixtures.
But with this being dubbed a relegation six-pointer, there's going to be a lot of pressure on this game, with Wolves boss Pereira already labelling it as a must-win. This to me seems like there will be a few goals on offer.
Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen is still waiting to open his league account for the season despite bagging 14 last term. Could this be the game he gets off the mark? It would be a huge help with this pick.
