Honduras vs Haiti Prediction: Hosts can seize control of Group C

The top two teams in Concacaf World Cup 2026 qualifying Group C meet in the early hours of Tuesday morning as Honduras host Haiti (01:00 BST). These two teams are locked on five points after three games, and this fixture is a crucial one.
If one side manages to win, they will move to the top of the standings, while the loser would probably drop out of the top two spots as Costa Rica sit on three points and they host bottom side Nicaragua a few hours later. Read on for my Honduras vs Haiti predictions...

Team News
Honduras head coach Reinaldo Rueda may be tempted to stick with the same side that played out a 0-0 draw with Costa Rica last week. Honduras dominated that game but were unable to make the most of their chances, so if Rueda does decide to tinker with his line-up, any changes will probably be in attack.
Haiti have no fresh injury or suspension concerns and boss Sebastien Migne is expected to stick with largely the same starting XI that claimed a 3-0 win at Nicaragua in their qualifier last week.
Honduras vs Haiti Predicted Lineups
- Honduras: Menjivar; Najar, Montes, Santos; Arriaga, Alvarez, Flores, Rosales; Benguche, Palma, Arboleda
- Haiti: Placide; Arcus, Ade, Duverne, Lacroix; Providence, Bellegarde, Jacques, Casimir; Pierrot, Nazon
Honduras are the favourites to win at 8/11, a draw is 12/5, and Haiti are 18/5 to come out on top.
The hosts were wasteful in front of goal against Costa Rica, but that goalless stalemate ended a run of six successive home wins, during which time they had scored twice in every game. Honduras are 2/1 to score in both halves and 1/1 to score over 1.5 goals.
Honduras vs Haiti Stats
- HND have only lost two of their last 10 games
- HTI have lost three of their last seven matches
- HND have kept three consecutive clean sheets
Honduras to win @ 19/20
Honduras are odds-on to win, and they should be able to justify their favouritism with a victory against Haiti.
Los Catrachos have lost just two of their last 10 games, and those defeats came against strong opposition in the shape of Canada and Mexico.
Haiti had gone six games without a win prior to their victory at Nicaragua (D3, L3), and their priority in this fixture will be avoiding defeat, as a draw would almost certainly be enough for them to keep hold of top spot and would guarantee a place in the top two with two games to play.
Playing for a draw against this Honduras outfit could be a mistake, however, as the hosts have enough quality to grind out a win even if Haiti defend in numbers.
The reverse fixture finished goalless on neutral territory, but Honduras were arguably unlucky not to claim the win, and with home advantage, they can come out on top.

Honduras to win to nil @ 15/8
If you’re looking for an odds-against option to back Honduras, then a home win to nil stands out.
Honduras have managed clean sheets in each of their last three games and have kept shut-outs in six of their last seven home assignments, while Haiti have failed to score in two of their last six fixtures, so Los Catrachos could claim the spoils and avoid conceding.
