Horse Racing Tips: Kosasiempre looking to pick up where she left off at Chepstow

A good mix of Flat - turf and all-weather - and Jumps racing takes place across the UK & Ireland on Friday, with a total of six meetings scheduled across the afternoon and into the evening.
We've studied the cards and come up with some horse racing tips to consider - including one for trainer Stuart Edmunds, who will be hoping her consistent nature will continue after a wind operation.
Horse Racing Tips - Friday, October 10
- 13:22 Chepstow - Fasol @ 13/8
- 14:32 Chepstow - Kosasiempre @ 11/2
- 14:57 Newmarket - Queen Of Hawaii @ 8/1

13:22 Chepstow - Fasol @ 13/8
Highly-rated by his trainer Paul Nicholls, FASOL has yet to deliver on those expectations.
That is not to say he has run poorly, a couple of second places early last season proved that he has some talent. However, after a wind operation he had to wait until March to notch his first win over hurdles. In what looked a competitive Maiden at Taunton, Fasol ran prominently throughout and pulled away nicely after the last with the wind surgery looking to have the desired effect.
He was narrowly beaten in his next start and the signs of a long season could be seen in his last start where again he ran well but faded in the closing stages.
This looks a good spot for the six-year-old to kick off his campaign, and if the summer break has had no ill affects he looks the one to beat.

14:32 Chepstow - Kosasiempre @ 11/2
A model of consistency last season, KOSASIEMPRE managed to get herself in the frame more times than not. Despite only one win last season she put in a number of impressive displays at Southwell, Fakenham and Cheltenham, latterly finishing third.
It was a gritty effort on the New Course at Cheltenham and it was her first attempt over three miles.
While Kosasiempre does make mistakes in her jumping at times, her determined nature often helps her through.
This looks to be a much easier test and she has had wind surgery over the summer.
If that has the desired effect, Edmunds’ charge can pick up where she left off last season.

14:57 Newmarket - Queen Of Hawaii @ XX
QUEEN OF HAWAII has shown a lot of improvement over her short career and her performance last time out suggests there will be more to come.
A distant but encouraging sixth in June, she was stepped up to a mile at Leopardstown in July and looked to have learned a lot from the previous outing by running prominently throughout and pushing clear in the closing stages to take a well deserved victory.
However, Queen Of Hawaii was not done there and went on to win again in the Group 3 Newtownanner Stud Stakes. Here she showed further progression, despite hanging a bit to the right in the closing stages, and was always in command.
The two-year-old may want a bit further in time and may find a number of these a bit of a stronger challenge but she's still open to further improvement and should be there or thereabouts.
