13:40 Uttoxeter - Race To Base @ 11/2
Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies can bag the Boots Opticians Uttoxeter Maiden Hurdle with RACE TO BASE.
A winner of his sole start in a point-to-point 12 months ago, he was last spotted landing a bumper at Hereford in April, coming clear with Captain Hugo, who went on to score himself soon after.
With his pointing experience a plus, Race To Base is fancied to enjoy a successful introduction to jumping under Rules now.
14:59 Killarney - Friary Road @ 3/1
The third race on the Killarney card, the Panoramic At Killarney Racecourse Rated Novice Hurdle, looks a competitive affair but one that can go the way of FRIARY ROAD.
Ted Walsh's five-year-old is a dual bumper winner, having won at Listowel and Punchestown last year, and comes into this race on the back of a career-best run when winning on his hurdles debut at Navan towards the end of last month.
That was by no means easy, having encountered trouble in running, but after finally pulling clear with Touch The Moon, he did enough to hold on for the victory.
While he has more to do now, there is certainly the potential of plenty more to come from Friary Road and he can make it two from two in this sphere.
15:43 Kelso - Half Shot @ 10/3
Dual course winner HALF SHOT is the fancy for Iain Jardine and Danny McMenamin. The Yeats gelding won here last September and again in April.
He's versatile trip-wise, with wins over 2m5½f and 2m7½f and has stayed three miles effectively, offering hope he will get this far.
He's 2lb below his last winning mark and could be set to excel himself at this marathon trip at a course he relishes.
16:26 Tipperary - Half A Chance @ 3/1
Shark Hanlon can land the Jimmy Hayes Memorial Handicap Hurdle with HALF A CHANCE. The six-year-old arrives following runner-up finishes at Downpatrick and Listowel.
He was denied by less than a length in both instances and races from a 3lb higher mark now.
He hasn't yet added to last year's Limerick maiden hurdle win but his recent form suggests he is closing in on doubling his tally over jumps and this looks a suitable opening for him.
The odds can and will fluctuate between time of publication and race time - but a 50p win Lucky 15 on today's selections at the quoted prices, assuming all four won, would return around £500 for a total £7.50 stake.
