QPR vs Oxford Prediction: Rs set for another home win

Queens Park Rangers host Oxford United at MATRADE Loftus Road on Wednesday (20:00 BST, Sky Sports Main Event) in the Championship. The Rs are unbeaten on home soil, with two wins from three games.
Below you will find my QPR vs Oxford predictions, supported by the team news and match odds.
Team News
QPR having to deal with injuries to key attacking players Ilias Chair (muscle) and Kwame Poku (hamstring). Defender Jake Clarke-Salter is recovering from a hip issue he picked up in January.
Boss Julien Stephan may stick with the same side that earned a draw at Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, but he may consider rotating his attacking options. Michael Frey, Karamoko Dembele and Paul Smyth are all alternative options to start in the final third.
Former QPR man Matt Phillips won't be available for Oxford United because of a knock.
U's boss Gary Rowett has named the same XI for the past two Championship fixtures, and he may consider fielding the same side in west London.
QPR vs Oxford Predicted Line-ups
- QPR - Nardi; Dunne, Morrison, Mbengue, Norrington-Davies; Hayden, Madsen, Dembele, Frey, Saito; Kone
- Oxford - Cumming; Spencer, Helik, Long, Currie; Placheta, De Keersmaecker, Brannagan, Krastev; Prelec, Lankshear
QPR have won three of their last four league games and they are 11/10 (implied probability of 47.6%) to come out on top here.
The two teams have drawn four matches between them in the second tier this term, and the stalemate is marketed at 12/5.
Oxford United are 5/2 to come away with the three points, which they managed on their last road trip at Bristol City.
Seven of the visitors' last nine away matches in the Championship has seen both teams get on the scoresheet, with BTTS priced at 4/6.
QPR vs Oxford Stats
- QPR are unbeaten at home in the league (2W 1D)
- Over 2.5 goals has struck in four of Oxford's last six league matches
QPR to win @ 11/10
QPR had a rocky start to the season but they have turned things around, going unbeaten in their last four outings in the Championship, winning three of them.
The Rs are unbeaten on home turf in three fixtures, two of them being wins against Charlton Athletic and more recently Stoke City. They welcome an Oxford side who may have won at Bristol City on their last away trip, but lost their previous two.
It was a good performance from Rowett's men but I think it will be difficult to maintain those standards here, especially with the form the hosts are in.
Even with Chair and Poku missing, QPR still have a lot of attacking talent to choose from and I believe they will put another three points on the board.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Over 2.5 goals @ 1/1
I don't think this game will be short of goals as both teams rank in the top 10 for over 2.5 goals in the Championship this season. Both sides have seen 57% of their games (4/7) producing three or more goals.
For Oxford, this has been a successful bet in two of their three away games so far and I think this trend will continue on Wednesday night. The U's have found the net in two of them, scoring at least twice, so they will pose a threat to QPR in W12.
