Championship Predictions: More home frustration for Norwich

Nick still leads the way in our Championship predictions leaderboard, with 54 points. Both he and I, Conor, picked up 18 at the weekend with five correct results apiece, leaving Simon with a lot of catching up to do.

Birmingham City vs Sheffield Wednesday (Tuesday 19:45 BST) - 1-1 @ 8/1
Birmingham City will look to put their 3-0 humiliation at Coventry City behind them when they host Sheffield Wednesday at St. Andrew's. The Blues are unbeaten across 28 league matches on home soil but they are currently struggling in front of goal.
The Owls may have a lot going against them but they currently look more organised than the hosts and they have taken four points from their last two away trips in the second tier. A share of the spoils could be on the cards.
Nick: 3-0
Simon: 3-0
Blackburn Rovers vs Swansea City (Tuesday 19:45 BST) - 0-1 @ 7/1
Blackburn Rovers have had a very bad week. First, they find out their game with Ipswich Town has to be replayed in full, despite the original match having 10 minutes left to play with Rovers a goal up with an extra man. This was then followed by a 3-0 loss at Charlton Athletic.
They will hope to respond when Swansea City head to Ewood Park, but the Swans are a tricky opponent. This could be a very cagey affair, but one I see the visitors nicking by a goal.
Nick: 1-0
Simon: 0-1
Bristol City vs Ipswich Town (Tuesday 19:45 BST) - 1-1 @ 11/2
Bristol City's away form is currently better than their home record but they are still a tough nut to crack at Ashton Gate. The Robins host Ipswich Town, who have won two games on the spin, but I don't think the Tractor Boys will have it all their own way on Tuesday.
I think a low-scoring draw seems appropriate for this one.
Nick: 1-2
Simon: 0-2
Hull City vs Preston North End (Tuesday 19:45 BST) - 1-1 @ 11/2
Hull have raised a few eyebrows this term, as have Preston North End. So it seems only right to go with a draw when they face each other at MKM Stadium. The Tigers have won two of their three home games, while Preston have lost just once on the road.
Nick: 1-1
Simon: 0-0
Leicester City vs Wrexham (Tuesday 19:45 BST) - 2-1 @ 7/1
Leicester City left it late to salvage a draw at West Bromwich Albion on Friday night, but they were fortunate the Baggies were not able to put the game to bed. The Foxes return to the King Power on Tuesday to face Wrexham, who had to settle for a point at home to Derby County last time out.
The Red Dragons may make this a competitive tussle in Leicestershire, but I fancy the hosts' individual quality to shine through.
Nick: 3-2

Middlesbrough vs Stoke City (Tuesday 19:45 BST) - 2-1 @ 15/2
League leaders Middlesbrough host third-place Stoke City to the Riverside on Tuesday. The home side remain unbeaten in the league after seven matches, winning all three of their home games to date.
Stoke are an impressive unit under Mark Robins but I suspect Boro's perfect home record will continue.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 1-1
Sheffield United vs Southampton (Tuesday 19:45 BST) - 1-1 @ 11/2
Chris Wilder claimed his (third) first victory in charge of Sheffield United at the weekend, with the Blades winning 1-0 at Oxford United. They return to Bramall Lane in midweek to face Southampton, who haven't started strongly themselves.
The Saints picked up a respectable point at home to Boro on Saturday but they are still yet to win on their travels. This feels like it has a draw written all over it.
Nick: 1-1
Simon: 1-1
Derby County vs Charlton Athletic (Tuesday 20:00 BST) - 1-1 @ 5/1
Derby County came from behind to take a point at Wrexham and they will be hoping they can take three at home to Charlton Athletic on Tuesday. The Rams are still waiting for their first win at Pride Park in the league, while the Addicks have lost just one of their away matches so far.
The visitors head here unbeaten in three and back-to-back victories. It will be a tough one for Derby but I fancy them to earn a draw.
Nick: 1-0
Simon: 0-2

Millwall vs Coventry City (Wednesday 19:45 BST) - 1-1 @ 11/2
Millwall are unbeaten in their previous three outings in the Championship and they entertain high-flying Coventry City at The Den on Wednesday. The Lions have won just once at home this term but their form has been improving of late.
Coventry are unbeaten on their travels, which includes two draws, and a stalemate may be the outcome here. The Sky Blues won 3-0 against Birmingham at the weekend but it was not a great performance on their part, just a poor one from the Blues.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 1-3
Norwich City vs West Bromwich Albion (Wednesday 19:45 BST) - 1-3 @ 18/1
Norwich City have lost all three of their home matches in the second tier so far this season and I think this record will continue with the visit of West Brom. Albion were made to pay for their missed chances on Friday as they only took a point against Leicester.
I can see them being more ruthless at Carrow Road, which has been a happy hunting ground for away sides so far. The Canaries are winless in three and pressure is already starting to mount on boss Liam Manning.
Nick: 2-2
Simon: 1-2
Portsmouth vs Watford (Wednesday 19:45 BST) - 1-1 @ 11/2
Two defeats in a row leaves Portsmouth in need of arresting their form. Pompey host Watford at Fratton Park on Wednesday, with the Hornets boasting the worst away record in the division (1D, 2L).
Watford did win at home to Hull City at the weekend but their away form is a concern.
Nick: 2-1
Simon: 1-1
Queens Park Rangers vs Oxford United (Wednesday 20:00 BST) - 2-1 @ 15/2
QPR were held to a draw at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but the Rs remain unbeaten in four, having won three on the bounce before the latest stalemate. They host Oxford United, who have lost two of their three away fixtures to date.
The hosts remain unbeaten at Loftus Road, winning twice, and I am backing them to record another three points here.
Nick: 1-1
Simon: 2-0
